Then why buy J-10Cs in the first place, if USA was being so generous with F-16s.
In recent days multiple sources are suggesting the US has no issues with Pakistan purchasing used F16s from Jordan or other friendly countries.

how much airframe is left?.. dont these jordanians fly?
20-30 years, they were recently MLUed and Structurally upgraded, a VERY good deal if we can get them, im seriously guessing theyd be around the $20m each mark
money that could have been used to improve JF-17?
Last Time if I remember correctly 13 F-16 PAF bought from Jordan replaced a squadron of F-7 insouth, which was a nice move, same will happen again IF the news is true.im not sure if youre being purposefully dense, but the F-16s will not replace J-10s, but will rather SUPPORT our current fleet of F-16s as it ages, alongside that, it will also enable retirement of more mirages and f-7s quicker.
They are all AMRAAM capable - and the stock of 498 AIM-120s isn’t going to be depleted any faster as it was ordered to sustain a total of 92 F-16s originally.Last Time if I remember correctly 13 F-16 PAF bought from Jordan replaced a squadron of F-7 insouth, which was a nice move, same will happen again IF the news is true.
My only concern is that either these birds will have BVR capabilities or not secondly we have limited stock of AIM-120C5 which is not going to increase with the increase of F-16 fleet
beggars cant be chosersUSA would love to sell Pakistan F-35s, if only it had any money to buy them.
I wonder where the 2 AMRAAM went ?They are all AMRAAM capable - and the stock of 498 AIM-120s isn’t going to be depleted any faster as it was ordered to sustain a total of 92 F-16s originally.
