Pakistan refuse to tone down Wagah ceremony

What tradition friend? I know enough of traditions. Pakistan has been in existence for all of 63 years. How does a practice which is 63 years old become a tradition? Going by your logic, since our two nations have been at war four times so far and went to war almost immediately after partition, so that should be called a tradition. So why should we even talk of peace? Should we not remain perpetually at war? After all we have a tradition to uphold. Moreover, the entire aura of the Wagah ceremony is totally negative and downright immature. Whether or not foot stamping is injurious to health is really unimportant, if it is a negative, silly and unproductive tradition, it should be scrapped. Why should we protect and continue with traditions which do nothing but breed hatred and false bravado?

In the 63 years since our partition we have remained at war for a combined total of NOT MORE THAN 6 MONTHS of our nation's existence whereas this parade has been performed everyday since 1959.........That is why my friend, it is a tradition.........

The Indian side is also packed......ALWAYS ! Obviously, people among you have also taking a liking to this tradition.

IMO which ever way this parade exists it should go on exactly the same way and no toning down cause it is there for last so many years, its history now. Even if Pakistan and India become best friends in the world it should still go in the same way. As we know the way this parade is executed no one can think of in normal Pakistani and Indian units so it is something special and special things are to be continued

Your guards are pissed cuz they cant make enough noise so they are making it an Issue, Our families also go to see parade, especially the sound of the guards, which is why we go to see parade cuz its the most exciting part, they are never disturbed by that, why are you guys so sensitive??

So, the only solution is, give your guards some food to eat, so they can try to compete our guards, and dont make Issues your self and then blame us, cuz this ceremony is going on for decades

if money was charged for the show in pak ,the audience in pak would be empty......

I witnessed this ceremony during the heightened tension in 2002,
There was a charge of Rs. 10. on our side, however the Indians had to ship in bus loads of locals, free of charge, just to counter the Pakistani assault.
