Pakistan raises issue of Aafia Siddiqui's 'human, legal rights' with US

. .
thanks for the clarification

Further, and on topic, as a permanent resident convicted of a felony carrying a sentence longer than six months, her green card will be cancelled upon completion of the sentence and thus rendered deportable to the country of her citizenship.

.
She is in jail for seven counts of attempted murder.

Those political considerations, if any, are all within Pakistan, who apprehended her and handed her over without any legal process under Pakistani law. Her attempted escape and murder attempts got her convicted, but that was later. She is serving out her sentence for those crimes.

She was convicted of seven counts of attempted murder. She has to serve out her sentence.
Yes, she should serve for 86 years. However, we don't want this.We want her to be released.Let governments talk and see the outcome.May Allah(SWT) help her to be released.
Regards

Of course Pakistan has every right to raise and further pursue the conviction of one of her own citizens according to all due legal and diplomatic avenues.

is that automatic ?? or at the discretion of a judge ?

.
USA has released a lot of Guantanamo Bay detainees who do not pose no or little threat to USA
if she posed no threat to America she would been released

there is something to her story that is not being revealed
we will see

USCIS has to proceed with the deportation petition in front of an Immigration Judge and must succeed for that to happen.

.
Please present some evidence in support, thanks.

Have you read your own links?

Al-Baghdadi was released by the Iraqis, and the Taliban leader by the Pakistanis, as stated in your own links. The claim of US pressure was made by the Taliban, and not by Pakistan. And the released terrorists were either let go after completion of due process, or by transfers to their home countries or those willing to take them.

And your favorite link has a word in its opening paragraph: hypothetical. Please understand that first. :D

Pardon me but your bias is clear.

Did you read the links and do some research or as usual get fed by media? I only pointed where to poke your nose :enjoy:

You reading ability is very selective:
Pakistan Frees Taliban Leader After US Talks With Terrorists

District judge Kenneth Grant threw out the American extradition request

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...merican-terrorist-linked-Al-Queda-allies.html

According to a March 2017 report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, 121 former detainees of the U.S. detention facility in Cuba were confirmed to have returned to terrorist activities. Another 87 were suspected of reengaging with terrorist activities, the report showed.

At every turn, Mr. Baghdadi’s rise has been shaped by the United States’ involvement in Iraq — most of the political changes that fueled his fight, or led to his promotion, were born directly from some American action.

So for ACTUALLY doing the act of terrorism America gives "few yrs" and release...but for hurting the ego of American soldiers and spat on their training America gives decades of torture? Impressive!

LOL.

Pakistan released Baradar, and never pointed out USA as the influence. :D

And USA wanted Mr. Dempsey extradited to be punished, not released. :D

And Baghdadi's rise was due to many factors, including US policies, but that does not mean anything more than that at all. He was released by the Iraqis. :D

Those are the facts, but your evident and extreme bias makes them something else entirely.

the fact of the matter is that mullah baradar was always in Pakistan's protection with being "under arrest" being the cover story. if he really WAS "under arrest" then the americans would've been given access to him like they have been asking for over a decade!

That is for the Pakistani agencies to explain.
