There seems to be nothing stealthy about it. It has a flashing flare attached to help the IR seeker. I doubt at this stage they are trying to.prove anything other than the correct operation of the test range itself.

What you are calling flare is a booster for short launch. The tail wing design was elevated if the purpose was just to shoot down the target an elevated design would not have been used plus the position of intake was on top to avoid RADAR.

It seems Pakistan test-fired the SD-10 and PL-5EII with the intention of trying out the Sonmiani Weapon Test Range (WTR). Basically, they tested the Sonmiani WTR using the missiles, not the other way around.
