but an ICBM is no answer for the threat coming from USA, how can we survive in war applied by USA in the name of weapons of mass destruction,just like US did in Iraq sir @Mav3rick

It is the possibility, just a mere possibility of retaliation from a nation when it's existence is threatened. Today there is no possibility of Pakistan ever striking back at US heartland in case of US attacks on Pakistan.

However, in the event where Pakistan possesses a potent ICBM infrastructure with MIRV capability along with terminal and mid-course guidance corrections with random unpredictable movements during the entire flight time in both the x and y sphere (to counter any ABM system), jamming and anti-jamming features in all bands simultaneously..........

Iraq was attacked and raped because it did NOT have any WMDs and there was concrete evidence of that with those which attacked Iraq. Is it then any surprise that the mad dog one day barks at North Korea and the next day declares that Kim and him could be good friends??? It is the mere possibility of a single NK'n Nuclear Missile reaching the US mainland and events thereafter. Regardless of what the US would do to NK, the chain of events that single devastating missile would unleash, thereby proving that even the US could bleed, would be unstoppable and therefore the US will never dare attack NK!!

What we need is the possibility.......

Rather than making ICBM which we all know are vulnerable to strong anti ballistic missile defence of US we should work on strong diplomatic relationships and to create a positive image of Pakistan and strengthen ourselves internally ...

Not all the wars are fought with physical weapons ... Do remember the strategies implemented in Madina, initially we had defence pact with jews in Madina for combine defence of Madina and result was although they did not helped us but still they were not against us ...

RIght now if we go for ICBM then it will be direct threat to potential allies in Europe including Germancy, France, Britan ... THe ideal situation is to work on having good relationship with China, Russia and Europe and when we are at stable position like India we can have ICBMs ...

For credible deterence against US the best chance is a long range nuclear capable submarine ... the benefit i=of this strategy is ...

1. We can keep on masking it as a strategy against India.
2. Attack from submarine has much more high chances of survivability than an ICBM.
3. It will not bring any diplomatic fall back

We should think for out of the box solutions from brain, putting emotions aside ...

I think this is the reason we not disclosing ICBM or not trying to have them. so much unwanted attention can create a lot of problems

You think powerful allies come to their partners defense when it is being attacked by a Super Power? Think again.

North Korea has NO allies, Iran has NO allies that would come to its rescue and yet the US has not attacked either of them. Even when allies do come to the rescue, your land is the battle field and your land and your people suffer twice the consequences aka Vietnam and Syria.

I am also confident that the US has a sea of networked interfaces all around the US coastline meant to trigger alarms upon detection of Submarines. On top of that, the US Navy has more experience around their seas than all other Navies combined. Basically, what you say is not a piece of cake.

ICBM's are the more logical choice while simultaneously we should also consider Nuclear Submarines.

First of all north korea has china and russia as key allies whereas iran is also an ally of russia ...

Secondly no they will come to rescue example is syria but my point is if you create a positive diplomatic impact so strong that super power do not have any reason to attack ... example is india ... Indian is russian ally but with great diplomacy they are having affair with is US ...

The event you are talking about was at the end of journey Prophet SAW ... You are ignoring pre migratipn era and events like ghazwa.e.khandaq ...

I am not saying that US is not a potential enemy ... What i am siggesting that right now we cannot deter US agression even with ICBM so best way is to have good diplomacy till wehave enough economical financial and military muscles to directly threat US with ICBM ...
