Pakistan nearing assembly stage of S20 submarine

.
Some members here specially close to Navy are hiding a fact that all 8 are not AIP submarines in fact two are nuclear. Yes many won't believe this right now, but every one will start hearing about this in next few months INSHALLAH.
For your sake I hope your right. That's a tall claim.

. . . . .
actually it was not a terrorist attack that killed the french engineers. pak intelligence killed them and blamed terrorists. why France failed to pay the "commission" in order to get the contract for 3 subs so revenge was in order. online its called the 'agusta scandal'

Never make a statement of which your not 100% sure.

Even if this was true, no one would admit it unless the Navy releases this information.

Brother I have always seen u shouting for Nuclear subs. U should know current requirements and capability of PN. We all want largest defence forces but reality is bitter and different. PN does not have enough funds for running a big fleet. OTOH training our people for current 8 subs will also be a big challenge for PN. So do not expect Nuclear subs till atleast 2 decades. Arabian sea coast is not so deep and here diesel/AIP is the best option. I don't think Indian nuclear subs can visit us because they'd be detected very easily in shallow water bcz of their noise. AIP is less detectable and far more potent in this situation.

there are many things no one knows about your own military. also i doubt pakistan would have leased a nuclear sub yet. india is in the process of leasing the akula class sub which could be either the kasholot which is undergoing modernisation or the iris which is partly complete it could be either one sub or it could be the two. if so pakistan would lease the type 93 sub from china [type 91 undergoing decommissioning]

when Pakistan decided to purchase 8 subs i would think the sub marines are not the s20 as they are quiet small to accommodate the babur missile. so it would either be the type 32 [which is big] or type 41 possibly enlarged. the first 6 would be conventional and the last two would be nuclear powered and armed that's the best option.

6 aip subs is a the standard quantity as it allows a navy to to use the subs on two tasks. so imagine is as 6 subs, but in two groups of 3. one would be on patrol or undergoing its task/mission. the second would be for training or possibly coastal patrols and the third would be for maintenance or training or reserve/backup.

nuclear sub don't need a lot of maintenance so two subs would be ideal and the less number of subs the lees likely someone sees the subs [foreign intelligence agencies] also it may get its hands on the type 93 to counter the akula class subs being leased

i feel pakistan is more of a thinker and carefully makes it next move. like some playing chess.

and what is your nationality?

This is a cover up story so that whatever happened to Pakistan cannot be traced back. If you believe this you will believe anything. Yes corruption was there but the attack on engineers would have stopped the deal so logic is not valid. Do help the enemy when they are honest but do not do their work for free, assuming you are using Pakistan flag correctly.

you do have a point where the deal would have stopped. but what made the contract to continue?

are you making this judgement based on the fact that allah will make it happen. what if he doesn't want it to happen!
i hate people who say things like this, the idea is logic and makes sense 6 aip 2 nuclear but in a few months! seriously. get to reality and stop using gods name so irresponsibly.
the idea of buying subs came to light in 2012. and just because parliament approved the purchase doesn't mean a deal is going to be signed in a few months. pakistan can't simply handover a 6 billion dollar contract. it need financing extra servicing arrangements. to cater for 8 subs.

i get it that your all hyped up about getting subs but get into reality the imf is restricting government purchases, as Citi did do with the type 214 sub deal.

and yes i am sunni muslim if any one is asking.

and also when is your eid friday or saturday?
