First indigenously produced ?

So the previous 3 were not indigenously produced at ksew I though all were built at ksew ?

Not sure what it means ? May be last 3 were kit assembly ?

This one produced from raw material onwards ?

I was expecting first indegoiusly designed and produced ?

These FAC's carry a huge punch despite their small size which makes them hard to to detect , We should build at least 2-4 more of them .

1st PNS Azmat was built in China

2nd PNS Deshat was built as per Chinese design but only build in Pakistan(source)

3rd PNS Himat was the first one which was based on changes in the original design done by MTC but those were limited changes mainly related to Weapon and sensors and if I am not wrong indigenous CBM was also part of it, from construction till commissioning of PNS Himmat in Pakistan Navy took only 24 months the Keel Laying ceremony of 3rd FAC(M) was held 11 Aug, 2015 while its Commissioning ceremony held 28 July, 2017

4th FAC(M) is the first indigenously design FAC which mean it have design change as per PN change requirements and it took approximately 35 months to incorporate those changes in design and to build as per new design

Plz note
- Its Steel Cutting Ceremony was held 29 Dec 2016.

- Its Keel Laying Ceremony was held 30 Mar 2017.

- Its Launching Ceremony is held today 27 Nov, 2019.

But as of now it is not Commissioned in Pakistan Navy .....

Now keep in mind its the first time we are Claiming Design Changes as highlighted in the below quoted part
Earlier Rear Admiral Syed Hasan Nasir Shah HI(M) MD KS&EW in his welcome address said that this project being the first indigenous design is a result of strenuous hard work by Karachi Shipyard and Maritime Technologies Complex, which gave enough confidence to undertake such a challenging project.

The poster does not mention design just “produced” ?? Does this mean design plus build ?

Anyway looks rear end well organised and not cramped front BD more stealthier and mast is different plus sensor but weapons same was expecting front 37 mm gun mount to be replaced by something better ??

Lastly all round visibility of main deck seems better then older version

While PA is focused on Bajwa extension and PAF is getting its block 3 development delayed, it is PN that is meeting all its procurement timelines perfectly
