how you know few ? lets wait let them arrive at mighty PN station karachi :yahoo::bunny:

OK, Indians are rescued by Pakistan and all the Indian assets those are fielded, just bringing Sri Lankans and Bangladeshis. All the Indians were working for that particular company! Happy!

Lets blow them up in the sea like Indian navy

Suice bumber!!

I dont understand why my fellow citizens are clinging on the CEO argument?

What if the CEO is a Pakistani? Whats your argument then?

The plain and simple fact really comes down to the simple point that " A Pakistani Navy ship has rescued our fellow countrymen, it doesn't matter if its arranged by CEO. a gardener or the pizza guy".

Thank them and move on.

I would have asked what knots , engine make, the weight of anchor, location of ship kitchen and a lot more of that before getting in.

Isko boltein hain khud ka dindora khud hi peetna.

It was the CEO's doing, no one asked PN to evacuate Indians. Indians just happened to be employed by that particular company, now PN or any navy for the matter wouldn't just kick them out of the ship for being Indians in all the ensuing hullabaloo.

Either way thanks for saving the Indians PN.

Cargo ship MV Suez, which was recently released by pirates, was attacked again this morning, and when it contacted the Indian Navy for help, their request was turned down, the ship’s captain told dnaindia.com.

“Four Somali pirates got on to the ship early morning and started firing at us," said Ravinder Singh, the cargo ship’s captain. “We fired parachute rockets at them and threw containers in an attempt to fend ourselves. One of them was injured in the process, which scared them off and they fled.”

When the ship contacted the Indian Navy, they were promised help in the form of patrolling.

“But they never sent any helicopters to look over us in spite of promising to come around for vigilance,” Singh said. “And now they have stopped taking our calls. We are disappointed with the navy. The Pakistani government was faster in responding to our plea.”

The Pakistani Navy has dispatched its warship PNS Babur to escort MV Suez safely Salalah in Oman. Food supplies, medicines and water are among the things that the warship is carrying for the exhausted crew members, some of who are ill too.

The captian also confirmed that Pakistani helicopters are now patrolling the area around the ship. "The choppers will stick around for protection till the warship arrives here," Captain Singh said.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Tasneem Aslam tweeted around 150 Pakistanis have boarded the ship which will depart shortly.

“Chinese students and employees, mostly European and Indians of a company whose CEO facilitated our citizens, are on PN ship for evacuation,” Aslam tweeted.

“We were brought to Alsheher which is 50 KM from Mukalla under tight security,” said Shahzain who is among the stranded Pakistanis.

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) will hold a meeting on the situation in Yemen at 8:00 PM PST. The UNSC will deliberate on civilian deaths in Yemen and a Russian proposal for possible humanitarian pauses in air strikes.

Saudia Arabia and its allies launched Operation Decisive Storm against the Houthi rebels on March 26 to halt their advance in Yemen.

How will a warship accommodate and feed 150 people on such a long voyage?

A warship has tons of fuel carrying capacity, ability to host hundreds of Naval officers, equipment and helicopters, missiles, torpedoes, etc. Making room for a few hundred people on a couple of its internal decks isn't a big deal. You just have to move stuff around.

This isn't really a party where everything will have to be setup with proper tables in circles and all, these guys are being evacuated from a war zone. They'll just have to hangout on a big deck for a couple of days till they get to safety...

oh no pakistanis got bragging rights..hope Indians ships get few pakistanis... kidnap if you need damn it..

WTF didnt these naval morons learnt any lesson from MV Suez saga? u dont do any favors to the indians.

They should have evacuated only our own citizens and Chinese. Indians! hell no.
