Pakistan Mulls NATO Offer to Ship Afghan Supplies Through Gwadar Port

Giod news. America too would want CPEC to be successful then.

.
This was China's end game from the beginning. They fooled you on CPEC. It was Gwandar that they needed to supply and stabilize Afghanistan and thus stabalize their own far east. Gwandar will be used in the interest of NATO and China not Pakistan.

Gwandar is strategic, CPEC is not. CPEC is a just a label attached to various infrastructure projects that the Chinese undertook ( at a significant profit) in Pakistan because no one else would.

You fools still think you can compete with the non-spiteful, future looking Chinese. No one is buying your 2020 superpower narrative not even your neighbors.

. .
How old do you think our soldiers are? They just want a route! calm down, it probably only be granted if Pakistan doesn't object to their future plans in Afghanistan or Baluchistan. This maybe the start of Afghan trade through Gwadar and maybe Americans would make sure the bulk of Afghan overseas trade goes through Gwadar   and opens up Afghanistan for transit to central asia.

Wasn't Gwadar and infrastructure to carry goods through Baluchistan developed recently? I think it wasn't adequately developed till recently and was probably unreliable in their calculation.

Do you think they would have a deal with BLA to not target their supplies? This is an "offer" supposedly there will be favors bestowed on Pakistan.

Im astonished you are still trying to support your earlier post.I wish it was as simple as just passing trucks...its NOT.
You want to give proxies a space to carry out clandestine activities which BTW they did do back when they had Shamsi airbase and in retaliation to which Iranians signed the 2004 strategic defense alliance with India. Do you even know the reasons how the Baluch insurgency of 2005 was fueled? And no its not just the trucks that cause the damage its the resultant narrative among locals that harms . Note this down, such a move will enable the IS elements in this region like you have never seen before. And when the trucks get blown the most contented party would be guess who?only those who wnt OBOR to fail.. The desertified west is perfect for such hit and run ops unlike the populated eastern section of Pakistan. How much is the Afgan trade btw? a fwe million..thats it..for that little money you will ruin your foreign policy and possibly lose trust from countries close to you.
Not just that it will be a really really bad bargain if we commit this route for a friendly govt. in Kabul. Can anyone really guarantee how long can such a Pakistan friendly govt. last in kabul and that too under whose umbrella? ..US?...bravo if you understood my point. It will backfire in no time, for god sake will you ever learn your lesson for the number of times this nexus has ditched you.
This is the time for Pakistan to say goodbye or maybe a partial farewell to American interests and start seeing what interests itself.

Business is business. For the right amount. This would get Gwadar rolling. This would only go through if China cleared this.
The point is after the new policy of US..it's more probable that they run Black water like organization in balauchistan...remember most of them came in Pak under the pretext of US-Aid

.
Lol. What to say? Pakistan should offer them everything from free. They can do whatever they want anyway.
Our elite class assets and children in west and US. Do you think they dare to say NO. In only one swiss bank Pakistani nationals hold 100 billion dollar and total in few swiss bank amount exceed to 200 billion dollars.

Then I don't know why commoners bother complaining. Although I suppose most Pakistanis residing in Pakistan don't anymore. Sad state of affairs.

Other than US source, is there any other source confirmed the news?

Giod news. America too would want CPEC to be successful then.

Sure US would love to have OBOR be successful so China can have an increasing presence in Indian ocean and as a result it wouldnt need the QUAD group (india/japan/australia/US) anymore to enforce its strategic depth in South PAcific and Indian ocean. Also it would help US to lose the only trade leverage it has over China so that China grows by all leaps and bounds...

Some pdfers try to find make a good news out of the worst news..this btw is not a news yet just a gossip for now.

.
But they were saying they not worried about Supply routes from Pak, and they have other options available. why still begging Pakistan.
Pakistan must negotiate according to current relations, and should ignore all previous arrangements, for both current and proposed supply routes.

.
Have Americans/Saudis in Baluchistan and Iranians will have an excuse to have Indians on their side of the border..A perfect recipe of disaster for OBOR Pakistan chapter. This news is a knee jerk reaction by US to counter the recent Chinese Naval base gossip.

Pakistan should respond to this news with a Categorical 'NO' before shit starts to hit the fan.
Are u by any chance an iranian supporter? Btw when we did not have americans and saudis (why u mentioned saudis when did we have them in balochistan?) in balochistan, iran was sending in kulbushan jadevs, now if some people say iran did not know thats way too juvenille statement. Iran has penetrated deep into mid east using its proxies and here they did not know about a serving indian navy officer working form their soil as an intel officer.

I dont agree with american presence in balochistan and will not at any cost even in the future, but your arguments against it mainly seem to revolve around protecting iran. Or how it will rile up iran.

Btw if iran wants to cosy up with india its their issue Pakistan should decide things according to her needs. And it was irans decision to bring and seat india next door on chahbahar and on lpng temr basis. So idont know what "iran will bring india next door" fear you are trying to establish.

By the way these supply routes work this way. Us troops are transported via aircrafts. Whilst american contractors transport supplies uptil the port, from the port onwards Pakistani local contractors load the supplies and transport to afghanistan.

As such no american presence shows up on pakistani soil due to transiting supplies.
But if we recall, some years back when sindh rangers had raided mqm offices hqs, nato stolen weaponry was recovered. Now we cant risk that happening in already miliancy infested balochistan.

.
THIS is a trap.
Remember how NATO containers used to go missing / looted and then the weapons appeared
in hands of terrorists / MQM.

Letting the enemy traverse our weakness loaded with all sorts of weapons and cargo is suicide.

I am 100% PA will oppose this move; however the politicians who own the transport business would
definitely want to make a buck out of it and want to carry on this business irrespective of the consequences.
Thereby creating a further Civilian Army divide.

Saw that coming....i support Iran and KSA both as long as it serves my country Pakistan..
Iran is a neighbor, its stability matters to Pakistan, why would i not want a peaceful Sistan Baluchistan? it affects Pakistani Baluchistan.A stable and prosperous Iran is importan for Pakistan.
Regardless of who is ruling it and even with all the wrong balls Tehran has played in past inside Pakistan by aiding Sectarian people or the divergence over other issues.
As for KY i dont think Iran was protecting him though he managed to slip in and it was a blunder on their part.

I totally agree with you if Iran wants to increase presence of Indians in Sistan Baluchistan then we have all the right to have Saudis come and invest in Gwadar..but we should let them make the first move on this...Exactly how did MQM got that weaponry theres a lot happening behind the veil..and Baluch govt. is directly involved...details to come soon.BTW Saudis have already committed some projects for Baluchistan and i welcome them..Its our job to keep their intrusion on check and limited..So my wish is to keep Saudis away from Gwadar but if the other side doesnt care about our interests we can put that wish in the bin. At this time the Chabahar port is leased to India for another 6?? years so we will get our answers soon..

I don't know why I am feeling so alarmed at this...If Pakistan, in future, decides to shut down the supplies, US will get excuse for an attack on Baluchistan as well...

I am not all for this...Don't include anything American in Baluchistan...They are trying to expand their destruction/evil to Baluchistan and looking for excuses to hurt Baluchistan...

Yep. The Americans don't hide their anti-Baluchistan agenda under a rug. We need to be very careful.
