Pakistan makes unprecedented announcement of nuclear capabilities

.
You don't just invade a country out of the blue.
It's crazy how so many people, especially our 'youth', don't seem to comprehend this simple fact.

What incentive is there for India to start an annexation process?

Religious glory?! Is that it?

Good luck explaining that sh!t to U.N, heh! We are no longer living in medieval times with Crusades and cr@p.

Plus, do they even possess the economic sustainability to fuel an all-out assault on a nuclear power, famous for its air superiority and talent? They've literally a butt ton of mouths to feed, for godsake!

The key thing to remember is the fact that these nukes are there to prevent any aggression from the neighboring countries.

These nukes are our big teeth, to show to the world that we can bite and won't go down without a bang!

. .
I can't vouch for all Indians but atleast a good majority of us don't really see any reason to have a misadventure with Pakistan. You guys have got sufficient problems of your own. It's much better for us to keep making our economy stronger while you are busy. I think that even BJP government talks about Pakistani Kashmir because they want to take the discussion away from Indian Kashmir. Beyond this no one thinks that it's practical to get into a war over Pakistani Kashmir (& that too with a nuclear power with much lesser to loose). Maybe once we are much stronger we will be able to force a diplomatic & peaceful solution (using 'force' as I don't think Pak Army will loose power anywhere in near future & Kashmir is a big justification for them to maintain disproportionate power within Pakistan).

maybe the threat is:

if u dont want to see Pakistan, a nuclear power, get destabilized by debt, then maybe u should give us more money

esp since we have portable nukes and a terrorism problem

Pakistan's nuclear command and control setup by US during Musharraf era. Training and equipment provided by US.
Totally wrong.
System was set up by Mushsrraf, and had nothing to do with USA.
However US news sources say they spent 100 Billion USD for helping Mushsrraf in securing Pakistani nukes.
It depends how they helped if so, and how was the help taken, if so.

CIA also has 50 billion USD annually to spend on clandestine operations.

Over a few years they spent 25 billion USD just on Pakistan.
The expenditure ranges from trying to spy on Pakistani nuclear program. They had some success. Such as buying off Lieutenant General Javed Iqbal and others. Creation of Aurat March and other organizations as cultural attack.
But saying that nuclear forces are In US control is wrong.

If you see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Critical_mass#Critical_mass_of_a_bare_sphere
a fissile core is at least 10 kilograms of mass and 10 centimeters in diameter. With controls and security, the mass will be more than this. So, a grenade, weighing much less than this, has no fissile core. Most likely, the report is about an explosive device filled with radioactive material. If an ordinary explosive is used to spread radioactive material over a large, crowded area, it can generate panic and can be used as a successful weapon of terror.

FYI, the lightest fissile nuclear weapon weighs 23 kilograms and is too big for a grenade.

I’m not sure if listing all the kinds of nukes in the hands of the generals will stop India from an attack here and there for political purposes.

After all, Bajwa was going to let Balakot go unanswered. The priorities of the generals is to gather money to transfer abroad, along with their families.

There seems to be no limit to how low they can go. Why would they risk getting nuked themselves by starting a war? If they can ruin the country for their personal interests and they don’t care if the people hate them then why would they care to be humiliated again by India?

If we keep the history in mind these type of "official threats" are issued only in sensitive times.

Key points:
  • Pakistan possesses nuclear RPGs and artillery
  • Pakistan has man portable nukes which can be carried in a backpack/brief case
  • Indian S-400 and BMD has effectively been neutralized.
  • Pakistan has effective second strike capability
  • All of India including external territory/islands are in striking range - there is 'nowhere to hide'

Warranted after constant saffron screeching from across the border.
Bus kerdo y daramaybazi ... india is not our worst enemy ... we ourselves are our worst enemy ...

We r not going to fall for this ... india need not to strike us we are already in bed with india with respect to kashmir thanks to bajwa ... why would india show agressive posture except for consumption if local policits or for rescuing generals of Pakistan who has the lowest popularity even among the soldiers ...

Bro if a general offer peace to the enemy beyond the borders it means he want to get engaged inside the borders.

Bajwa is the recent examples for this phenomena.

If a general is engage within the borders of the country it means he is at war with the nation which was supposed to be defended by that general.

In this case general and enemy are Collaborative due to their interests but even in that situation if general is issuing threats to the enemy it either mean danger from enemy is real or general want to divert attention towards the enemy because of his lossing grip to the power, but in our case we do know Asim grip on the power is getting stronger and stronger with every passing day.

This is what I was saying hope you would understand.

We may be the biggest threat to ourselves, but Indians have far more hatred for us. It's even seeping into NRIs sadly.

Bajwa is gone, Asim is here. With Pakistan's economic situation now is not the time to light up the LoC.

India has followed up on its threats of raids and strikes inside Pakistan before (they also annexed Siachen). Now India has escalated to threats of forcibly annexing Kashmir by the top brass.

They have learnt their lesson from Balakot. Their military budget is 82 Billion versus our 9 Billion. Their economy is booming and ours is on the ventilator and TTP is on the rise after being resettled.

In this environment, Indians have taken an offensive and provocative posture against Pakistan. What do you suggest we do in this situation?
