Forget Indian media. The issue is whether the Pak Establishment knew or not. If they did, then it's clear that Bin Laden was given a safe haven as a quid pro quo that the Al Qaeda would not operate against Pakistan's interests, and fooling the world that they were unaware about his location, stressing that he was in Afghanistan.

If the Establishment was unaware of his presence in Abbotabad then that could be construed as the biggest failure and incompetence of Pakistan's intel agencies especially the ISI / MI.

What he said is that they had the intelligence of his where abouts and were working to reveal it. He did not elaborate if it is actionable information. Since this is after the fact, so we have to assume he is talking about abbottabad.
