Pakistan-Israel relationship

Gentlemen, I think it is better for Pakistan to recognize Israel. I mean is 70 or so years of warmongering isn't enough? Egypt and Jordan were sworn enemies of Israel in the past, and where are they now? Peace between countries. I have mentioned before that there should be a clear line that separate the State/Government from Religion. I mean the US of A is not perfect gentlemen, but we don't let religious nutjobs (we do have 'em too you know) dictate our foreign policy. It seems that Pakistani's (not all of them but a significant number) are more emotional about this issue than the Arabs themselves (to think the distance between Israel and Pakistan is a thousand miles or something). Let us stop with the rhetoric's gentlemen. Maybe we can start that change here.....

As soon as Israel give back land to original owners and stop killing innocent we shouldn't as we don't have any fight with Israel only we have moral support for Palestine.

It's about solving the problems, how can anyone expect to solve any problems if you do not confront the other party. We should recognize Israel and in process try to help Palestinians, we support the Palestinian cause, yet we do nothing to moving it along. There is nothing wrong in recognizing Israel. People will oppose it, let them, we need to move on...
my opinion

We will be more than happy to recognize Israel once Israel stops killing Muslims and return them their land.(Palestine). Israel is the only country that does not have definite territory boundaries.

I may not like Israel's action against Palestinians at personal level but i am always in favor of Pakistan as country having working relationship with Israel or any other country of world.

As i have said my friend, the Palestine issue is an issue for the Palestinians, not Pakistani's. Yes Both people are Muslims but as I have mentioned, let us not get too affected lets leave a line between whats separates from Religion and the State/Government.

My friends as I have mentioned on my post, Pakistan is a thousand miles away from Israel stop being so emotional about the land issue more than the Arabs themselves. The Israeli's are there now the world has recognized them a long time ago. They have been so for the past 70 years and no amount of war or what have you can uproot them on the land. They have survived three wars and defeated their enemies easily. Let us be realistic here my friends.

I am not sure why you quoted me in this post, I already stated in my previous posts on this thread as well in this that i am in favor of recognizing Israel. But i have all the right to hold my opinion about matters just like Americans worrying about people and democracy all over the globe. :D

Pakistan have a stance over decades that Israel first recognize Palestine and give the annexed land back to Palestine since 1962.

I guess that Pakistan must stay away from Israel.I mean we already have so much challenges to deal and at this time,we are in no position to think anything else except encountering terrorism and dealing with our border security with Indians and Afghans.Moving towards Israel is a bad idea,as we need to make (reciprocated) re-adjustments which is near to impossible, plus allowing Israel to open up diplomatic relations means opening another gateway to cold-war,I consider this a very bad idea. However,I respect other's opinion as well.
On contrary to that,Pakistan must first focus on to replenish relationships with close neighbor countries and must prefer to establish relationships with them, rather than a country which is in-directly a threat and far away from us.

regards

I do not reject the Israel entity. But I do not think that we should have relationship with a nation who has a controversial and no definite boundary. Israel is a fact but the relationship with the Palestine forces us to have behave like this. We Pakistanis are a Muslim nation and we believe that all Muslims are one nation and non Muslims are another nation despite geographical difference. We will support our Muslims brothers like we have same identity . I don't blame you for not understanding because now on most of things, we are not properly following our Islamic teachings. It's complicated. I just wish that the Palestine issue is resolved so that the world can become a better place. And also as Mr slav defense has started, let us deal with our internal mess before meddling with our external matters.
