With increased EEZ to 350 miles, the PN has to project power across a huge area, PLUS, it has to protect thousands of ships coming and leaving Karachi and Gawader with stuff for Pakistan, China, Russia and some central Russian states.
In fact, the range of Paistan's EEZ now ends very close to Dawarka (a major IN station) and then Bombay little bit further down. So having ships on rotation 100-150 miles within Dawarka (and much closer to Bombay then ever before), will keep a serious check on IN's naval station and on the Bombay port.
On the other side, the Pakistani EEZ now gets very close to Muscat and Gulf of Oman, and on the other side, to the Strait of Homez. The PN can actually block any ships bound to India from that side too, if she had the number of advance and heavy vessels and an air arm of dedicated 80-100 jets (combination of 4th gen+ and the JFT block II and III's).
Next thing the PN should do, is to build a naval station in Jivani, which is a port within like 20+ miles from Iran. Having a secured naval station there can keep the Chahabar port (within 50 miles), in a serious check from a Pakistan's military and strategic standpoint. The above points are VERY deep and well thought through. You'd have to think about the implications to understand what I just wrote.
I hope some PN senior officers read this. I just gave a future strategy for the PN!!!
