Pakistan - Iran relations

Pakistan and Iran are brother countries. The first nation to accept Pakistan was Iran under the Shah. Bilateral trade mainly consists of the trade of rice and wheat which are exported by Pakistan to Iran.

With Iran the only nation capable and willing to face the US, I have much respect for it. Anyone so extremely weak and yet willing to glare down at the Americans deserves some respect. The attempt to eliminate Iran's nuclear program is steeped with western bias because they have signed a nuke deal with India too and Israel clearly has nuclear weapons about which they have remained mum.

It is my sincere hope that ties between Pakistan and Iran improve for the better. We should resist US pressure. Long live our friendship.

The reason why Western world is against Iran having a nuclear program is because Iran signed the NPT.
India did not.

India is not violating a treaty it signed by developing weapons, Iran is.

No. Countries can not waltz in and out of treaties as and when they like.
Iran can not get out of NPT easily now. There will be costs to pay. Sanctions is one of them.

You don't seem to be analyzing or informing here much brother, Iranians also talk a lot against Iranian rigid Govt, law and executions.

You mentioned Iranians only know of Pakistan in relation to Taliban, extremists....there is a war against extremists going in Pakistan, it will sure come to mind, what's the news here.......Whole Pakistan wants to be liberated of extremists, is that what Pakistani students talk against?

As article started: There are elements exploiting ideological differences and working against bilateral relationship, and the fact that foreign policies didn't align for a long time, now require a major shift in mindset, these points need to be analyzed further.

On individual basis, bro it is so easy and so natural to have friendship with Persians, I have always noticed likeness between Pakistanis and Iranians......

I have few Iranian friends here in US and they are like brothers. The internet Iranians and current Iran's politicians are responsible for creating cracks between the common people.

As you've mention third parties - yes they are involved...PDF is an example of it, whenever there is any issue between Pakistan and Iran, nationals from a certain country open threads after threads like crazies - search the forum and you'll get the answer.

I doubt Iran would allow india to use its soil against us... As for Afghanistan.. i have alot of hope in PM Ghani...and recent positive developments.. I like his quote "We shouldnt open a new leaf... we should write a new book"...

well we'll do whatever we like with our ports but iran will never allow anyone (even its friends like india) to launch any aggression against its neighbors and history is completely clear in that aspect .

show me a timeline that iran has allowed such a shyte .
