Its a height of stupidity to see Kamran Akmal and Shoaib Malik who haven't played for Pakistan show out of no where to take part of the team.

I would also blame idiot players who can serve Pakistan but chose to retire AKA Misbah.

Without the failed players like Kamran Akmal and Shoaib Malik, can you see the benefits Pakistani Cricket Team is now performing....you see bringing in new cricketers does give mass benefits to Pakistan.

The Old Monoply of players and especially the cricket board members and selectors has to be broken.

Well done Pakistan white-washing Australia and creating many new World records.

This is a continuing thread for welfare of Pakistan cricket and over haul of Pakistan Cricket, these are the effects after overhaul of cricket is being done, bringing in new players without monopoly and politics, Najam Sethi as PCB Chief came in, made some administrative changes, and then Zaka Ashraf as PCB Chief was reinstated back and no more judiciary interference again and again, since the judges decided the cases quickly. These are the modern and fast but good changes we need in Cricket.

Only PERFORMANCE OF PLAYERS matter in the END.

Pakistan Cricket needs a overhaul, after not too good performances in the recent ICC champions trophy.

Its time Pakistan Cricket needs a change - The year's Old Selection Committee, Board Members, PCB Officials and Players need a complete change for the new dedicated, non-politicized, hardworking, smart and incorruptible people.

If somebody reckons that our cricket, especially our batting has lost its foothold and has become hopeless, they better take a look at the records of the young domestic players, yet oldie failures like , Imran Farhat, Shahid Afridi, Younis Khan, Kamran Akmal & Shoaib Malik selected again & again since 9/11. Shoaib Malik is 76th in the ODI batting rankings. Imran Farhat is 77th. Kamran Akmal is 79th. It is not the players but the 'Management' that is playing cricket for our nation.

Stop wasting the Money and Time of Pakistan Fans who do so much for its team.

Pakistanis know the brave Pakistan Team has been also a serious victim of propaganda and anti-Pakistani polices, who suffered from the negative English Press, The Oval Fiasco (Amir, Salman, & Asif), Umpires of ICC and the Indian infested ICC propaganda machine. Pakistan has also faced from the Indian sponsored terrorist attacks on the SriLankan Cricket Team leaving Pakistan from any Cricket played in its own country.

Despite these troubles, Pakistan and Pakistanis need to face truth, be honest, think positive, have strong faith in Allah(swt) and move forward.

I potentially think Pakistanis are the Greatest Race on Earth on many regards. As time progresses, they definitely have proven to be the God's Chosen ppl. Pakistanis have the grace, revenge feeling to win and large heartedness to achieve what no other can do.

Every time a new chairman takes over PCB they reshuffle management, coaches and players.

What they don't do is focus on the domestic game.

Why are balls being used which are not use in international matches? Why are pitches prepared so pathetically? Why are ground in such bad condition? Why is there no marketing done to promote domestic games so people attend for revenue?

Why are there ghost teams with no players?

Why are players from influential families allowed to pay for a place in the team?

Why is there no scouting network?

I could go on and on and on.

These chairman do not get to the crux of the problem. The issue in grass roots. If these chairmen had concept of real work and what needs to be done they would have done it already. They don't. They scratch the surface and procrastinate for the rest of the day gossiping in the office.

You have an 85 year old person in charge on his last legs. What fuel does he have in his fire? Its all burnt out, he's lived a long life mashallah.

Meritocracy can only achieved when there is attention to detail. Corruption is widespread and cricket has been dieing a slow painful death since the 90s.

Central contract should be highest for Openers!!!! , and bowlers who take 3 wickets in game then we will see improvement

Central contract should be given based on individual level not as GROUP

Batsmen contracts :

1. Opening Batsmen get 20% higher base
2. 50 or 100 runs results in bonus (2% per score)
3. Positions 2, 3 , 4 , 5, 6 get median pay with bonus of 50-100 runs (3% per score)
4. Position 7, 8 ,9, 10 get bonus pay 10% if 50 scored but base pay is less

5. Yearly average gives you 70% of your pay, if you were not selected by team
you get 50% of your base only, if your runs scored in year was over 500 runs in year
you are obviously getting bonus

Bowling Contracts:
1- Based on number of wickets in year (85%)
2- Based on economy of runs / wicket (10%)
3- Maiden overs (5% bonus on this amount)
4 - 4 or 5 wicket taken special 1% bonus added


All rounder Contracts
1- Fixed wickets - Runs expected (500+ runs scored and 30+ wickets taken)
2- If you played less games the ratio changes


Catches Bonus:
1- Bonus pay of catches taken
2- Special bonus for Wicket keepers who take certain number of wickets
3- Certain 4 stopped bonus , contribute to bonus pay end of year example you stop 100 ,
certain 4's , you get 5% bonus pay
4 - Run out play 1 % bonus to team

It is now pretty CLEAR, very clear, who destroyed Pakistan Cricket - Clearly Moin Khan attitude, Waqar Younis Preferences, Kamran Akmal, Shoaib Malik, Younis Khan, Afridi (to some extent), Salman Butt, Imran Farhat, are all responsible for destroying Pakistani Cricket.

How Safraz Ahmed Career was being destroyed by likes of Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal, and PCS selection committee, these monopoly of players must now being changed. We need to look for new Captain after World Cup.

Pakistani Cricket is also being destroyed by Najam Sethi and especially Management.

Selection committee, Moin Khan, Wasim Akram, Afridi, and Waqar Younis.....Waqar Younis as captain in 2003 worldcup had also problems with team in those days...no member in team wants to talk to Waqar in 2003 World Cup...Pakistan suffered.

Waqar as well as Intikhab Alam is not good coaches though Waqar Younis is a LEGEND bowler....all time great.

There are some serious filthy people in lower management, domestic selection and management without a doubt.

The dirty politics of Salman Butt, Imran Farhat, Kamran Akmal, Umar Akmal, Shahid Khan Afridi, Moin Khan, Shoaib Malik and selection committee who destroyed Pakistan Cricket.

Add Pakistan politicians and money bribes a catalyst to destruction of Pakistan team.

No I dont buy this. You may forgive him after he has served his time but nonetheless he did it consciously for money under no influence of alcohol or blackmail. He knew he was putting money before his country.He was a national icon and was progressing towards great things.What a gem of bowler he was.But at 21 you are old enough to know what you are doing.
Let me give you an analogy.It might seem a little extreme.Just tell me one one thing would you buy this argument if it was a 21 year old officer in your navy or airforce who was lured for money for not doing his duties honestly?
