What's new

Pakistan Army team won gold medal, for the fourth consecutive time, in the world’s toughest Cambrian

Huge achievement. Well done boys. Don't expect any different. Congrats to team green. We are the world's most battle hardened force for a reason.
Now, most of the Armies have turned to that of LGBTs!!!! The #of Merts is in serious decline...

We are born at our homes, and we die at the battlefields - a Turkish saying

Dude are your infantry not conducting ops in hostile Kashmiri terrain??????

IA conducts search (and intimidation) operations in villages - villages that are not in control of terrorists, only part of the population may be sympathetic to them. It is different from a fast-paced infantry assault into enemy territory. Your forces had to do that since they had to liberate large areas which were taken over by terrorists inimical to Pakistan.

See how in India Maoist held territories are taken back (by paramilitary forces, army is not directly involved). This taking back of territory happens over many years, that is our strategy. PA/NLI does it fast, their tactics evolved according to their doctrine.

...
why does it matter? world doesn't revolve around Israel
we are not going to fight Israel when KSA , Egypt and Jordan are their friends.

Pakistani team had enough teams to compete with.

I think he was asking in context of "caused civilian casualties" ; that Israelis & Indians having habbit of carelessly causing cibilian casualties.

So he was curious to learn if Israelis participated then they would probably lose marks for causing civilian casualties too!

Congrats.
On Wales radio, COS Major Hortop of 160 Brigade said Pakistan army scored 184 points (180 needed out of 240 for Gold).

Indian team (2/8 GR) scored 186 points but lost 10 points as penalty for causing civilian casualties during a simulated infantry assault on enemy village. Thus settled for silver with 176 pts.

The same 2/8 GR won Gold in Cambrian Patrol 2016 with 183 pts.

Final points tally (as of phase 6)

Royal Aus Rifles: 197 points
1 Royal Gurkha: 191 points
Uzbek Army: 184 points
Pak Army NLI: 184 points
1 PWWR: 180 (-5 for penalty) points
2/8 GR India: 176 (-10 penalty) points
Cyprus Homeguard : 173 points
Danish Hussars: 169 points
RCA PPIR: 168 points (-3 penalty).
jis chez may tumharay gurkhaas burkhaas ko b*nd ka zor lagana parta hai na...shukr kro ssgs ni hain jinke liye ye halwa ha......shakahari bakriyoun

in Pakistan due to gas loadshedding and expensive gas many people take bath by cold water in extreme winters so it is not difficult for our public to fight enemies along army in snow

You think Hindu Nepali and Indian Gurkha are Chinese ?
Summat that looks Chinese, smells Chinese is probably Chinese. Hindoo does not maketh India. If it did Sri Lankan Tamils, Napali's, Balinese would be Indians. As much as Muslim does not make Pakistan - if it did then Bosnia, Turkey, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan etc etc would be Pakisan.

Specifically Gurkha's are a Sino-Tibetan peoples and hail from a country called Nepal. so I fail to see how they are regarded as Indian. And Britain was the original employer of Nepali Gurkhas so by that measure Gurkhas could be regarded more British.

I actually read a book by British Army officer of the Brigade of Gurkhas that once when they were posted on guard duty outside Buckingham Palace many tourists would ask "Why are Japs guarding the Queen?". And you can see why they thought that. Gurkhas as a ethnic group share as much similarity with Gangoo's if not less then blonde Swedes do with Pakistani's. At least these are both Caucasians !

The Parbate Brahmins and the ruling dynasty among the Gorkhali people trace their ancestry to the Hindu Rajputs and Brahmins of Northern India who entered modern Nepal from the West following Muslim advances.

Prithvi Narayan Shah was born in a Hindu family. After he became the master of Kathmandu proper, he began to follow his policy of exclusion and expulsion of the Europeans with all strictness. The Capuchin missionaries who were residing in Nepal for a long time and who had been successfully converting people and also gaining lands from the Malla Kings were expelled from Nepal. He also expelled the Kashmiri merchants from Nepal. He called Nepal the actual 'Hindustan.' He advised the citizens of Nepal to never leave the traditional dharma of the ancestors.
