General is right, US and NATO plus ANA could not control bunch of AK-47 carrying shalwar kameez wearing fighters in Afghanistan, and finally Ashraf Ghani is going to any length for success of peace talks with those AK-47 carrying cavemen. (US + NATO would pretty much sum up the world's most advanced, highly trained armies). And Pakistan achieved its objectives against these cavemen in difficult terrains with its population residing there.

You skipped the Afghanistan part I see, d e l i b e r a t e l y. US, NATO and before them USSR also fought these cavemen with zero success rate of making them bow to their wishes, which in case of Pakistan, Pakistan forces have accomplished successfully.

What is there to accept?

Honestly, there is very little hidden about your fighting forces, from ours. Those of ours who have actually fought against yours, eyeball to eyeball, are still very much alive and capable (and ever ready) of sharing battle anecdotes with juniors.

The ONLY way to conquer Afghanistan is two either kill all Afghans or destroy all mosques, mazars and convert all to some other religion by force. 21st century democratic/republican etc rule from abroad ain't gonna work.
