PakArmy helicopter securely rescued 5 people, including a woman and two girls, from Sawan river. Mid Air rescue over flood waters.

That's pretty weird. I hardly doubt the water level rose way too quick than anticipated. These villagers maybe tried to cross over to DHA or bahria using the shortcut and got stuck.

It sometimes happens but I heard it my self that the reason was water level rising

its called flash flooding happens all the time here in UK and is big problem.

It happens in the summer specifically in the hot weather when the water levels are increased in dams and reservoirs due to public using more water in the hot days. when it rains the levels of the already stored water rises and flash floods occur
