Pakistan and India fight it out in power corridors of Washington DC

We have our Congressional Caucas in America which focuses on Pakistan and our commercial/political interests.

india has theirs

we pay millions of dollars to some of the top-rated strategic communications ("PR agencies") in the US; so do the indians....

thats how the game works......in fact, PR firms and interests groups are basically what run the bloody country

regarding the "loss" of Raphel -- its become a divisive issue. Many in the US State Department, retired diplomats and EVEN Pakistan HATERS (like that flip-flopping bitch of a woman, Christine Fair) have come close to her defense......given her old relationship with Pakistan and her genuine love for it, her "dismissal" is indeed unfortunate -- the indians are definitely snickering and scored a brownie point there, i'll give it to them.

at the same time, Syed Ghulam Nabi Fai - a Kashmiri nationalist and respected lobbyist - is free, charges against him no longer existing. indian lobby thought they had crossed him out, but he's right back to doing his pro-Kashmir activities

Pakistan and India spare no opportunity to fight, and fight to the end, their proxy wars everywhere possible; from their respective soils to Afghanistan to Nepal and even in the power corridors of Washington DC. The Americans have historically been influencing Pakistan to go soft on India even when the latter was in anti-US Soviet camp during the infamous Cold War.

Not literally , but , Seriously??????

Regarding the 1962 war, Why would the US will want to support Pakistan , when China, a communist state, a partner of Soviet Union, was attacking India? USA was fighting communism tooth and nail and in the height of cold war, and it would have made stupid sense of it to allowing Pakistan to attack India.

what are you talking about? China was not receptive AT ALL to the idea of the Soviet union forcing its way into Afghanistan.....not at all.

China provided arms and other support to the mujahideen as well, through the ISI

We are talking about 1962 war and not what happened in 1980's.
