Pak to bid for non-permanent UNSC seat next year

The fact that India will not vote for Pakistan does not reflect poorly on them, it reflects poorly on our leaders

That is why time to clean the set up of traitors. Also needs to replace the envoy to UN with some vocal person like that Lady Tasneem Aslam or Muhammad Sadiq once were foreign office spokespersons

Yes we know Chunkya wisdom wont allow that to happen.

Pakistan voted for India for getting non-per UNSC seat NOW its not necessary that bhartis will vote for us. We know the snake-like wisdom of our rivals

i am not saying that we should support u because ur support were urgent for us

As far as i know more than 190 countries voted for us,and that was overwhelming,it does not change much for us,even if u not voted for us

I am saying we should vote for Pakistan only as a reciprocal behavior

Their is nothing snake like, its just simple

India has never been much of a 'reciprocater'.

I agree with everything you said accept this, anyways we can discuss it in another thread how much of a reciprocator India has been.

P.S. Jana...that Chanakya thing wasn't necessary. You are the most senior member here. You should be setting an example through your posts for the younger chaps.

BTW jana, Im only trying to think without being emotional.

IMO India will be the first country objecting Pakistans bid for a non permanent UNSC seat bringing out the terrorism card and highlighting Pakistans so called support for it and Pakistan being the breading ground for anti Indian elements.

.
Why are we even discussing next year's vote right now?

Things can change very drastically in one year. All the goodwill of Pakistani support for India's candidature recently would vanish in thin year if we have another 2611 kinda attack......

.
We can vote for pakistan unless our asian allies do not want our vote.

Japan,Singapore,Vietnam,Sri lanka,Bangladesh etc should get first preference of our vote.

I am a big fan of Chunkya diplomacy and Chunkya tactics. I have studied him in details.

I dont know why Indians consider name of this amazing diplomat as something offensive.

Though his ideas and tactics sound too harsh, snake like and brutal but i like these brutal diplomacy tactics.

There is Nothing emotional in my post. Indians will act against Pakistan always. It was rather stupid emotional hope by Pakistani politicians who are emotionally banking on that India will vote for Pakistan.

:disagree: stupid assumption.

Anyway Pakistani good gesture and support and vote was a big mistake and bad decision to trust an enemy. Simple and clear. I consider India a snake who no matter how much you feed it will sting Pakistan

pakistan played their cards well by giving vote to India because they knew that India was getting it anyway. There is no love towards India for what they voted in our favor.

May be Indians consider this offensive as you mispell the name that is Chanakya and not Chunkya

Snakes bite, scorpions sting

Let me try to 'explain' pakistan's vote for India:

India was widely expected to win and frankly speaking, Pakistan's vote against India would not have made much of a difference.

But Pakistan has made a smart move by voting for India. Why? It now gives them the right to demand reciprocal treatment.

'Ek teer se do shikaar.' That's what Pakistan has done. Now they've put India in a spot as to whether to vote for or against.

Pakistan's vote in essence did not make any difference and yet gave them an opportunity to play the 'goodwill gesture' card with India.

Although, I have serious doubts if Pakistan would still have voted in India's favour had there not been such a wide support for India's candidature.

P.S. I see a strategic opening here for India. Now think, when the issue of Permanent membership comes up and Pakistan led 'Coffee club' seeks to stall India's moves, at that time this vote by Pakistan in India's favour now will prove instrumental to counter whatever 'logic' being promulgated by Pakistan against giving India the permanent membership.

. .
Indians will act against Pakistan always.

I can say that about Pakistanis also but as I replied to Asim, so will I reply to you...we can discuss it in another thread how' reciprocal' India has been towards Pakistan in our entire post-independence history.
