Pak-Sino relations and its impact on Pakistans reputation in the Muslim world

.
LOL we have strong relations with basically every Muslim country in the world.

With only one exception - Turkey (and the Islamic State).

.
My mistake. I apologize. Nevertheless, Turkey has never betray Pakistan.
Turkey has never betrayed Pakistan, but Turkey did betray Muslim Syria and turned that country into a war zone. When Muslim countries back stab each other at every given opportunity how can you say that Pakistan should take into consideration the sentiments of Muslim countries?

Pakistan has suffered the worst insurgency in the history of any Muslim country with more than 60,000 dead and 70 billion dollars worth of economic and infrastructural damage, and now that we are beginning to recover with the help of China we must now take into consideration the sentiments of Muslim countries? If our Muslim brother countries genuinely care about us they would not discourage us from cooperating with China.

.

The only Muslim state that currently has a very good relationship with China is Pakistan. What consequences will this have for the reputation of Pakistan in the Muslim world? The Indian government under Modi is not as stupid as we always believe. They will try to use these different positions for their own goals. It's just a matter of time before India on the one side and Turkey, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia on the other side begin to cooperate.

Well in that case Pakistan can recognize Armenia and start cooperating with it, I guess. :-)

If our Muslim brother countries genuinely care about us they would not discourage us from cooperating with China.

A "Muslim brother" is not quite the same as the meaning of brotherhood would suggest. ;)
Arabs need brother-slaves to fight Iran and Turks need brothers to create a greater Turkestan. What's in it for Pakistan? ;p

You hit quite right on the nail. Naivety in this world has no limit. That is why ISIS can managed to fool a section of people into joining them. Turkey will no hesitant to promote separatism in Pakistan if there are some local Pakistanis Turkmen who wanted to create an independent state.

The title says it all. It's a matter of fact: the overwhelming majority of Muslims worldwide do not sympathize with China. The country, the culture, the language, its traditions, its foreign and domestic policy - simply everything that is related to Chinese state or its society is unpopular.

What are the reasons behind this rejection?

Main reason for this negative attitude towards China lies in the fact that the Chinese one-party government suppresses innocent Muslims. Everybody recognises that the ethnic Uygurs in East Turkestan are still being persecuted.

From Balkan and Anatolia to Central Asia, the Turkic people don't tolerate Chinese. Even if the political elites of the Turkic states negotiate with China, the common people whether Shiite or Sunni do not like the Chinese nation. It would be quite mistaken to believe that this view of China is a "Turkish thing".

The majority of Sunni Arabs share the same opinion. China acts as a supporter of Russia and Assad. In the eyes of the Sunni Arabs, the Syrian crisis is to a large extent the co-responsibility of Russia's and Chinas's irresponsible and crazy Middle East policies.

Not only Arabs and Turks have their problems with the Chinese. Chinese ships violating the maritime sovereignty of Malaysia. Muslim majority countries in Southeast Asia like Indonesia and Brunei also criticize China’s claim on South China Sea.

The United Arab Emirates have already begun closer cooperation with India.

Like all grown ups you have your own friend circles who may not be at the best of terms with each other. Pakistan has special relations with China, which has been helping her to survive in a tough neighborhood of eternal enemies, whose redemption lies on her elimination. It is that serious. As Turks we need to understand this. Pak China special friendship may open new avenues for us too! A couple of years back we had a joint exercise with China. This is diplomacy and geo politics people have been playing for thousands of years.

Get your facts straight. You are talking clearly bullshit. Turkey has always supported Pakistan in Kashmir. The territorial integrity and the Pakistani sovereignty are cornerstones of Turkish foreign policy.

Yes, just becos they are no Turkmen in that area. If that area has Pakistanis Turkmen who wanted to break away from Pakistan and join Turkey. Turkey are happy to give a helping hand :enjoy:

Both Turkey and China are Pakistan's longstanding allies and both countries are important to our national interests. But Pakistan will not sacrifice its relations with either country to appease the other.

That and supporting the Uyghur sepratists in China, whom the Pakistanis apparently aren't supporting. You turks (assuming you're turkish) shouldn't play too much in the geopolotical arena, you aren't the Ottomans anymore. You should worry more about the Turk-Rus issue.

@KediKesenFare

Pakistan's great relations with China are not at the cost of Turkeye or vice virsa.

Turkeye and Turkish world will always be considered as our brothers and same is for China. Since childhood Pakistanis are taught to love and respect these two countries so it's in blood.

I'am sure higher ups of Pakistani officials might always be on the lookout to establish cordial relationship between Turkeye and China.

Love to Turkish brothers.
Love to Chinese brothers.

Pakistan has been also indirectly complicit in deaths of million Muslim Afghan during the Taliban rule and militancy. The 200 million Muslim Pakistanis face mortal danger from India which takes precedence in our policies

How will Pakistan react when the Chinese say one day: we do not want you to talk to the Indonesians, Turks, Arabs, etc.? Believe me, that will happen.
They might have bad relations with Turks due to uighyur issue but otherv
than that they actually have a good relation with all muslims states so i dont find it happening anytime in the near forseable future

Hi,

Then you have misunderstood the chinese----. There is no either or in chinese vocabulary----.

But if it comes down to it---Pakistan will stand with China---.

Supposedly our future is hooked up with china more so than the middle east.

Till now most Muslims have positive views about China, but things can change soon. The actions of Chinese government against Muslims in China from closing mosques to banning Hijab will change this positive view or attitude to a negative one. West will also take advantage of it and will spread this news of oppresdion in entire Muslim world. Therefore China needs to give more freedom to its Muslims and start a dialogue with them otherwise I am afraid things may turn seriously ugly.
