Pakistan Navy’s indigenously designed & constructed Fast Attack Craft

PNS Haibat is the first land mark project indigenously designed by Maritime Technologies Complex and constructed by KS&EW without any foreign technical assistance.

It will usher a new chapter in the indigenous design and construction that has been further matured with time. The concerted efforts put in by KS&EW, MTC and Pakistan Navy for the land mark achievement.

. . .
PNS HAIBAT is from Azmat class, right? If yes, than is there are difference between the previous ships and this one?

Design is now indigenous, probably MTC studied the previous design and new boat with increase weight of around 100 tonnes with design improvement, further increased and number of weapons. Hopefully MTC should now go towards a 850-900 tonnes weightage class boat.

Lovely ship.

. . .
How many more does the PN plan to get of this type?

.
All PN ships should have long range VTOL Drone capabilities so that radar and offensive strike abilities can be extended. I also suggested a drone carrier long time ago, that's the way forward and something quickly achievable which PN should seriously look into.
