A Pakistani national was apprehended by BSF for sneaking into the Indian territory in Rajasthan''s Barmer district, officials said today.
The 50-year old man, identified as Noor Alam from Karachi, was arrested yesterday after BSF personnel found him roaming in suspiciously, they said.
During questioning, Alam said he had crossed the border two months ago and entered into Punjab with another Pakistani national Zafar. From Punjab, they went to Ajmer to visit dargarh of Sufi Saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chisty, BSF officials said.
"Alam said he had separated from Zafar in Ajmer and somebody suggested him to go to Pakistan by Thar Express so he moved to Barmer in a local train and wanted to go to his country," they said, adding that he was not carrying any valid document.
