We will never be able to reach the status of friendship unless massess interact with each other on a large scale .
Bollywood has certainly helped immensely Pakistanis in understanding that the differences between the two giants is pretty negligible .
On a side note we should concentrate heavily on bussiness .
Exporting bollywood helped , similarly exporting /importing other gadgets will also take these 2 countries a little more closer .

One agrees in principle that we too need to shed the baggage we have carried for 65 years and move on.

It would be wonderful if it were to happen.

However, I am not sure of its ' inevitability'.

There are too many wheels within wheels on both sides. Hatred for each other is not a POV any more - its an industry that sustains so many groups in our sub continent and the world arms / weapons industry.

One does not see that kind of leadership with the necessary mandate to make things happen .

P.S. The reference to a Hindu god in post 4 above is uncalled for .

Agreed to some point bit but totally no not at all sorry... the point is that there needs to be start without a start you got nothing plus always remember nothing in the world is impossible wheels or no damn wheels there has to be a start many major players in the world want us to be enemies in regards to wepons industry and etc i agree but in reailty they want to us kill ourselves completly why do that when we can achive alot together and even if not that alteeast we can live in peace next to each other. I hope and always have prayerd for a better Pakistan & India together and if not together then atleast at peace and that is not impossible my friend so help us GOD.
