SU 30 family is not that expensive as western 4.5th gen AC's.
Besides India is also manufacturing some parts in local industry.

bt 37 milllion too much cheap

because the french upgrade per aircraft was 32Million USD means after french upgrade jf-17 should cost around 40-45 Million
and the j-11 cost is some wher above 40Million which is completely built in china except the engine

this is toomuch cheap and MKI is over rated by indian

If you care to read carefully my post actually tells u exactly what u said. We did a cost benefit analysis and then let it go , think what u want to think. We had much to loose future Indian masses who are just waiting to join the development bandwagon.

If you have ever been in a responsible position either in family or job you wud know that we have to take int account many things before taking a decision. Currently we chose a path of diplomacy as we are busy with something else. economy is growing by 8 - 9 % which will double the economy in a decade and think about the number of ppl which that will drag out of poverty.

cant be emotional or provoked while running India not at the moment. Think what u want to think , its good for u.

we are facing giant enemy like india thats y we have to spend more % gdp in defence and china is also facing enemies like US japan n india ... every neighbor of india have problem with india

By the way ,how old is this article
Becoz from what i Know , the no of su30mki was 105 as of october 2009 , it should be over 115 by now since hal builds 1 jet per month , and also india has started recieving su30mkis from russia as well , 4 were recieved last year , 16 are to be recieved this yr out of which some have already been delivered
these jets were ordered in 2007 , as of march 2010 , india has also ordered 42 more of these jets
Another thing which increases the suspicion regarding the date of the article is the fact that 36 mki have already been deployed in tezpur and other part of arunachal
IAF has decided to deploy Mig 29 in the western border while mki will be based in gujrat mainly on maritime strike role
