Great thread Sir Murad...but i would say Quad i azam was great defence analyst.
Pakistani pilots used Sabre like a toys....extreme precision strike when no no concept of defence or attack guidance system in planes....it was all pilot personal performance ....Bravo

No doubt Quaid e Azam was a visionary.
The mission statement he gave to PAF was an example of his insight into strategy.
His visits to the various formations in his very brief stint as Governor General and his addresses to the troops are really shining examples of his vision and his strategical grasp on military matters.
One only needs to read these addresses to comprehend the genius of this great leader.

My job was to kill not to count, People who counted or looked for wreaks were only interested in medals I and my course were from a different breed our medal was Pakistan and Pakistan only, Having 2 kills 1 Gnat and Hunter which according to Indian were superior. Named Gnat as Saber Slayer, What a jock it hardly took me sec from he being at my 6 and I stuck with a fuel tank getting on to his 6.
Again I say that IAf had good pilots I had a 9 min Dogfight with a Hunter and guys 9 min of dogfight is a lifetime. I couldn't take him down and he couldn't shoot me down we both went Winchester and returned back to our respective bases. BAD LUCK OR HARD LUCK
