PAF inducting state-of-the-art weapons to meet any challenge: air chief

So like this?

That's an E-Lralt - air-launched Extended Medium-range Ballistic Missile - launched out the back of a C-17. They're not used for strike purposes, though they could be, but rather as target missiles for the Standard Series and THAAD.

Another system would be akin to Skybolt, but it was dropped in favor of land and sea based missiles. With its limited at-sea deterrence, relegated at the moment to cruise missiles, perhaps Pakistan could resurrect the concept?

Both are technically feasible, though the survivability of air-launched systems that require cargo aircraft is dubious as airfields are likely to be knocked out of action early in any major conflict.
Mine was a satire comment.
But yes even Minuteman had been tested from a Transport aircraft.
Although Pakistan doesn't really need to be desperate for a second strike capability as India doesn't have enough Nuclear warheads to completely annihilate Pakistan, far from it.
The existing Offroading TEL s can launch a second strike as they will be far away from any first strike target areas hit by Indian agni or Prithvi,

Aap phir say PDF per zinda hogaye hein.
Aap kii Badrooh idher hii nazar aatii hay. Hum nay tou aap ka number bhii delete ker diya.

More acurate, maneuverable and speedy cruise missiles within 2000 km range should be the priority, in my opnion.

If we test ICBM now, we might disclose a series of very well kept secrets about our navigation and targeting capabilities along with our settalites. On top of that why would we call all the punishments and wrath of the West upon us by threatening them with ICBMs, we have no imminent threat from Europe our ICBMs can't even reach Continental America.
Our allies KSA, CHINA, SAUDI ARABIA, UAE and Turkey are not under nuclear threat. So right now best way is to invest and improve our short to medium range nuclear assets So that, if we have to use those nukes, they really do hit their intended targets and not get shot by Barrak 8, Patriot or S-300 missile defence. Babur 2 & 3 are awesome along with RAAD . we need to improve them and make our ballistic ones MARV since MIRV is not possible for 5-8 years.

I think what the air force chief is talking about is, recently acquired long range air to air missiles , ABM systems like buk m3 and HQ-9 B plus possibility of 4.5 and 5th gen jet fighters.

.
Though apparently it seems cliche statement but I will go with the chief's statement and details will be made public only when opportune. I'm actually not a fan of making things public at all. We need to keep an element of surprise.
