PAF bombing homes in Waziristan is Justified

You agree that there are no similarities between both now, but you have spent the last five-six posts stubbornly claiming that both are same. Seriously! Its their own fault then, the time was given and facilities were provided, its not possible for us to drag each person out of the conflict zone. If the ones who were "unable to leave" wanted to leave, they could have left easily, the extremists dont exactly want their own families killed, to answer your earlier argument of terrorist's family members.

I dont believe in perfection.

Actually there are many similarities on how operations are being carried out by Pakistan is NW and Israelis in Gaza...similar weapons, similar scorched earth tactics are being used by both sides.

Such tactics are used when one wants to keep its own force casualties at minimum but do not care about collateral damage.

However, what is dissimilar treatment of IDPs, who have left the war zone, Israel simply does not care palestinian DPs. Pakistan does.

Okay, what would you do in this situation? You're all about criticizing, but have yet to bring any sort of suggestion up.

I find it absolutely hilarious that Indian members kept on criticizing Pakistan for not doing enough in the past to counter the militants in the tribal area, and now that it is, they're "worried about civilian casualties".

The fact is that you're basing your own opinion on nothing, absolutely nothing. Everything you've said is simply an assumption, a thought in your head, a criticism based on one's own personal biases, nothing more.

[Edit]: Also, why are you so obsessed with Pakistan's internal matter? If Pakistanis started commenting about how India is conducting it's anti-naxal operations, you'd probably tell them to f-off and mind their own business.

Try Imran Khan, test his capability, if he also fails... then Maula Hazif Hai

His suggestion of negotiations failed, multiple times. I don't trust IK when it comes to dealing with terrorism. Also, really? hafiz Saeed? Yeah, I get it, but you just aren't funny. A funnier response would be Musharraf.

Bahi Jan, it's not that simple. All I can tell you, from a aam admi point of view, there is change in the air. You can taste it when you speak to people. The rest, you think three decades of programming can be turned off with 1 switch, surely you are not so naive?

BTW this action is not something the Government took lead on, this was demanded by the PEOPLE, the army and government merely acknowledged the need of the people.

Do you think, if IK was the head of Government, he would have allowed operation? He is one of the sympathizers.

Wishful thinking?

You don't know anything about IK apart from what you read in the papers. ANP Ko KPK mey PTI ney nahi mara!

Don't say that, it might lead to civil war.

What is your over all point? What are you getting at?

My point is that Pakistan Army has short term interests and plans. They never foresaw Talibans turning against them as fifth column. Now Talibans are taking money from foreign governments and bombing and attacking Pakistani targets. The Talibans joined several religious organizations and start killing Shias, Barelvis, etc probably with Saudi support. This started long time ago but only now the Pakistan army wakes up and uses JF-17 to bomb their own country.

. .
are you telling me that Taliban supported Ik?
lo bahi... Now you really are reading too much into things. Meray bahi, there is more to KPK than ANP and TTP. Look more towards ISF, and whoever commands respect with the ISF commands the youth vote bank and that is a powerful ally.

Pak fauj have no other option. Let's just hope that it is an effective strategy.

I don't even know where to begin. Yes, Pakistan used to support the taliban; no, they probably didn't forsee the taliban turning against them, otherwise they would never have recognized a taliban gov in Afghanistan; No, the ttp and the Afghan taliban were and are still not the same organization, as such the ttp were never a construct of Pakistan or more specifically the ISI; Finally, they probably do have foreign support, and no Pakistan is not bombing it's own country for the fun of it. Pakistan is fighting a war against an enemy that hides among the population, an enemy that does not hesitate to kill children. These operations started a long time ago, NWA is just the most recent and biggest one to date.

Ignore IK, he is relatively a new guy when it comes to FATA politics.

As far as negotiations are concerned, countless deals and talks took place over the last decade or so but without any fruitful results. Jihadis agenda is not restricted to any specific land but they have global agenda or at least aimed at entire muslim land mass where to dominate the land by implementing their twisted ideology by deadly force. So you really cannot talk to them, temporary deals is just like buying time for them. We should had realized this long time back.
