What's new

PAF again welcome female GD(P)s.......

Not Physical, if at all they have been through, they must have, but not physical. For eg.... In a mock fight, you might have to fight a man, its not a fair game thing that ours is women, so from your side also it should be a fair game. same weight, size etc..

ahh! no don't worry, I just support what is fair. The day Lila, Rita or whatever fights Under taker or Batista, I would believe it. And the day army starts mock fight bw men and women, I would accept it.

they ain't doing any wrestling neither am i a fan of wrestling, Off topic
but if you are of view that they can't pull High Gs then sorry

I am not against women induction. But not an emotional fool, they should be allowed for everything but if they are on par.

last but not the least, The day we would be having girls and boys in the same cricket team also, I would support that.

how many times i have told you they have no less capabilities, I have given historical reference & now days there are even female F-22 pilots so proves my point that they are NO less capable

Well anyways, PAF must have thought something, Best of luck to all those beauties. God Bless..

PS- No "Sir lockheed"please. If you can argue without it then its ok but if you just want to be sarcastic and prove yourself, let me know I won't quote your post from the next time.
Thanks,

KS

sorry, I have to be a bit sarcastic :D

Say what you like, but I rather have a man riding a fighter plane than a woman during a war. Of course on the other side (i.e. the enemy) I would prefer a woman pilot.

Yep, Sharia Law does not mean you oppress women.I am pretty sure this guy Fundamentalist would like nothing more then stripping women of their basic rights and make them their slaves in the name of Shria.Animals.These are the same people who marry 4 women in the name of Islam just for booty and then this guy wants to serve in Canadian Military. He is quite a character.

You are here just to critise me , but i always pray for you , good luck .

Arey baba.... They can fly perfectly. I mentioned in the very first post on this thread that they can. My concern was just the possibility when taken hostage or falling into enemy territory..

Ok here is the deal.. If they really want a women pilot worth it then they cannot assume that she will never fall in enemy's hand. And if they accept that, then their training should be as rigrous as men..

Well, WWE, They might be forced in one when in enemy territory..

If I am talking out of logic please hang me till death. (I am not very good at being sarcastic though I tried)...

Thanks

KS

And btw, these "21st century" and "oppressive" remarks are just politically correct comebacks. Men are biologically far better suited for these things.

They who are going to be Female pilots know about all the dangers of been in enemy territory (don't bring in rape) so no need for you all to be concerned about their fate in enemy territory

as i said before the ones who decided for their induction are more qualified than you & me :pakistan:

hmm! I thought I won't include religion into it but yaa see here we have the example. Demography plays an important role in defining values and also in motivating a person. Your culture and religion not allowing women as a combat pilot, many people would be around to demotivate the women.

These social problems, leaves a very hustle impact on the development of a person..

If she becomes a pilot also, there are so many people on this forum itself, who don't accept them on religious grounds. And please dont' tell me that they don't need support and all. Every civilised society needs support, be it men or women. If they will be criticised all the time for their work, career path, where from they will absorb the motivation.

In any organisation, PAF is one, these are basic factors which must be kept in mind before making such decisions. These are basic managment theories which are not given any attention..

If PAF or IAF has taken a decision and assuming that it is God's stamp on it is incorrect and mistakes are likely to happen..

PS- I didn't mean your religion as a problem. I know nothing about it if it wrong or right, but that hardly matters, in the end it is affecting your lives.

Thanks

Rule of thumb, no science ( scientific managment principle no 1). Just because they are at such a position they are right? Not correct, you know that very well. Had it been like this our country would have reached new heights.

Well let me know when you want to stop the argument. I see unanswered replies from you now.. (just kidding)

Kinsuk we are not talking about indian airforce it would be better if u dont post ur opinion in another countries defence matters.

@Mr X
well ok lets leave the religion aside

name me any 5 Women Army generals in the history of Human mankind......... or name me any true female warrior in the history of mankind? who won say 3-4 battles in her life and was famous for her strategies???

you was asking for 5 i m giving u 11 name 10+1 (Rani laxmi bai even u can add begum hazrat mahal but she was not the same caliber as above but she perticipated in a war)

rest 10 names are given below:

This is a list of the greatest female warriors through history. In order to be selected for this list, the woman has had to be someone who fought in battle herself, not just commanding from a distance, and she had to be real – for this reason people like Hua Mulan are not included as there is a lot of doubt about their historical existence.

She destroyed monuments and churches and attempted to wipe out all of the members of the ruling dynasty (descendants of theQueen of Sheba). Triệu Thị Trinh
225 AD

Trinh

Triệu Thị Trinh was a Vietnamese warrior from the 3rd century who successfully resisted the occupying forces of the Wu Kingdom during their time in Vietnam. She was born in the Trieu Son district of Thanh Hoa province (now in Northern Vietnam). At the time of her birth, the area was controlled by the Eastern Wu Kingdom, one of China’s three Kingdoms. She was orphaned at a young age and was raised by her brother and his wife as a slave until the age of 20. She escaped from her brother’s home and fled to the jungle where she built up an army of at least 1,000 men and women soldiers. Triệu Trinh managed to liberate an area of Vietnam which she then claimed as her own. Bythe age of 23 she had defeated at least 30 Wu advances. It was said that she rode in to battle on the back of an elephant whilst wearing golden armor and carrying two swords.

Boudicca
1st Century AD

Boudicca

Boudicca was a Queen of the people of Norfolk who lead an uprising against the occupying forces of the Roman Empire. Her husband had left his kingdom jointly to his daughters and the Roman Emperor when he died, but the Romans did not acknowledge the joint rule – they simply took full control. It was reported that Boudica was flogged and her daughters raped. She was eventually chosen as the leader of her people and their neighbors to lead an assault on the Romans. Her army had great success in their battles – and in fact completely demolished the city of Camulodunum (Colchester). Tacitus said that the Britons had no desire to take prisoners – they simply slaughtered everyone in their path. Dio said that the noble Roman women were beheaded and had their breasts cut off and sewn to their mouths. Ironically, the great anti-imperialist rebel is now identified with the head of the British Empire, and her statue stands guard over the city she razed to the ground.

Trưng Sisters
1st Century AD

Trung1

The Trưng Sisters were Vietnamese military leaders who managed to repel Chinese invasions for over three years. They are regarded as national heroines of Vietnam. They were born during the thousand-year Chinese occupation. After fighting off a small Chinese unit from their village, they assembled an army mostly consisting of women. Within months they had taken back many regions from the Chinese and had liberated Nam Việt. They became Queens of the country and resisted all further attacks from the Chinese for two years. Eventually the Chinese formed a large army to crush the sisters and their army. Legend has it that the Chinese army went in tobattle totally naked in order to shame the women soldiers in to defeat. Despite a heroic effort on the part of the sisters, the Chinese overcame their army. To protect their honor and to avoid ridicule at the hands of the Chinese, the two queens committed suicide by drowning themselves in the Hát river.

Artemisia I of Caria
5th Century BC

Salamis

Artemisia I of Caria became the ruler of Ionia as a client of the Persians. She is best remembered for her participation in theBattle of Salamis (image above). She alone counseled the King of Persia (Xerxes) not to meet the Greeks at sea and do battle. Nevertheless he did not heed her advice and she participated in the battle in September 480 BC as the commander of five ships. At one point in the battle the Greeks were close to capturing her trireme when she devised a cunning plan to escape. She had her own ship bear down on another Persian ship causing the Greeks to think that she was fighting on their side. When she sank the ship the Greeks left her alone. Xerxes watching from a nearby hill also assumed that she had defeated an enemy ship and praised her for her bravery. Xerxes was so full of praise for her that he said: “My men have turned into women and my women into men!”. Artemisia tried to convince Xerxes to retreat to Asia Minor against the advice of his other generals. Ultimately the Persians suffered a great defeat.

Just paying the bills...

Further campaigns against the neighbouring Yi, Qiang, and Ba were to follow – with the latter being particularly well known as the earliest recorded large scale ambush in Chinese history. With over 13,000 troops, she was the most powerful military leader of her time.

After several more swift victories, she led Charles VII to his coronation at Rheims. She is the only person ever recorded to have commanded the entire army of a nation atthe age of seventeen. Despite sustaining wounds to the neck and head, she continued to lead the country to victory repeatedly. She was tried for heresy in a false court and burnt at the stake. ok man............. i don't know who these womens are......... but they are not as famous as other male warriors so i did not know about them.

and i am not against women being fighter pilot also........ i was just telling the facts like what can happen if women becomes a pilot

i don't mind......... u see if women can get raped in enemies territory......... man too can get raped nowadays this is 21st century afterall........ a part from physical strength i think womens are as compatible as men and sometimes may prove even more dangerous since most of the womens have better sense of humour comparing to men

Fundamentaist i can understand your frustration. You would want PAF to be a fundamentalist air force like Jamati Islami with Salafi ideas. Not gonna happen. In fact, If you had you power you would probably start recruiting Taliban Pilots.

I am not in favour of both salafi or JI , you misunderstood me , i am only muslim and always try to follow basic fundamentals of islam(qalma, namaz,Ramazan, zakat, haj),

If Islam allow women pilot , i have no objection.

Your comment is non sense

Women have better sense of humour? All the men tell me opposite. Regardless, even if that were true, how would that help make them more dangerous?
