PAC And HAL Good Paint Job or Workmanship

Lo soun lo fir.......your Tejas has had more implants than Frankenstein .

''What actually happened between 1983 and 2000? First, let us take the promise of indigenous development. In 1986 an agreement was quietly signed with the United States that permitted DRDO to work with four US Air force laboratories. The to-be-indigenously-developed engine for the LCA -- Kaveri -- was forgotten and the US made General Electric F-404 engine was substituted. Radar was sourced from Erricson Ferranti, carbon-fibre composite panels for wings from Alenia and fly-by-wire controls from Lockheed Martin. Design help was sought from British Aerospace, Avion Marcel Dassault and Deutsche Aerospace. Wind tunnel testing was done in the US, Russia and France. As for armaments -- missiles, guns, rockets and bombs -- every last item was to be imported.''

Despite being in the works since 1983, the fighter is nowhere near indigenisation and almost 70% of the aircraft’s systems still need to be imported.

HAL misread "indigenisation" for "indianisation". This is why Tejas is what it is.

Mate if you can't use simple Internet tools and belive one guy did the design of the tejas airframe. Then good for you. Have a nice day
Lol! Man, he's the chief architect and team leader so, obviously, he's going to be mentioned. We have a whole team for designs and wind tunnel testing I don't know what you're thinking about. And get this, no western company is going to help you with anything, when it comes to critical technology. They will not want to lose their business. So, instead of trying desperately to prove India didn't do anything and imported everything from the west, do something in your own country that's worth a good mention or hope for the same. These attempts at proving or even a one-one matching will not give you any good apart from chest-thumping without any material.

Indians on PDF, due to their nature, often refer to products such as JF-17 built in Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) as a mere paint job. Albeit the sheer frustration and heartburn is understandable. However, since the Indians claim that their LCA Tejas is indigenous and pride product of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) . Let's compare the two respective aircraft for their paint job and workmanship.

Tejas, Excellent paint job.

But a close look at the aircraft reveals some average workmanship.

Underneath the aircraft, it seems like patchwork and gun casing and surrounding has very basic if not poor finish.

Hope that clears the doubt as who is good at paint jobs and who is professional in workmanship. :D
Windee.YOU KNOW NOTHING. THIS IS SAME PAINT USED IN UFO. TEJA BHAI PAINT IS HUNDRED TIMES ADVANCE THEN OUR JF17

Tejas comes with a Truck mount, JF-17 don't hence Tejas wins, and who cares if the paint job on Tejas is not top-notch, have you seen the Truck that carries the Fighter Jet, the top of its class, OP is just jealous of Indian Tejass.

Dassault did all the challenging work. Indians only did trivial “design”
Also you lied about Indians doing testing yourselves since India doesn’t have advanced wind tunnels and had to pay the Russians to test out the lca and the failed kaveri

Wind Tunnel testing and Engine Fly Testing are different. India have Wind Tunnel and Ground based Engine Testing facilities...

No doubt you guys are expert in paint job but. Thumbs up for that. But I don't like these toilet door hinges

With time designs improve but looks like it is quite contrary for Pakistan. Looks like imported Chinese hinges were replaced with a local solution.
At least we are relying on local products rather than implanting foreign products and calling it indigenous.
Seems the handle design has been moved on to the twin seater.
