What's new

Over100 US air sorties confront over 300 Chinese air sorties in east China sea.

Point is any country with a healthy defence budget (>$25B) has not opted for Chinese fighters
I have not interest in how global beggars are optimising their bowl
Wealthy nation not opt for Chinese fighter is more due to political issue than capabilities. You expect NATO nations to buy Chinese fighter plane or non NATO like Japan or India to buy Chinese arms?

no worship
just stating facts.
results speak for themselves.

The fact is Western technologies are not perfect either, in fact nothing made by human is "Perfect". Otherwise,how are you going to explain Space Shuttle disasters and multi delays of Artemis 1st launch due to leaking on SLS rocket?

Bro, stand up and stand tall.

Over 3 days continuously, more than 300 Chinese fighters confronted over 100 US fighters in East China Sea lately according to Taiwanese military source. Does anyone still doubt the reliability of Chinese engines that are commonly installed on these Chinese planes after the testings in this incident ?

The detailed article is in English:

Flying once or twice is not reliability. Reliability is established when you subject your aircraft to sustained operations.

I found it odd that even Saudi Arabia or UAE do not purchase Chinese aircraft. Heck the PAF did not obtain J-10s until recently

There are conflicting reports of the J-15 design being flawed, resulting in four known and multiple unknown crashes. Domestically developed WS-10H engines are unreliable compared to original Russian Salyut AL-31F engines. It is confirmed that unstable flight control systems were the key factor behind the at least two fatal accidents couple of years ago.

Yes, of course, big sustained operation or confrontation that involves 300 Chinese fighters for over 3 days nonstop without any break down or recall doesnt give you some indication about the durability or reliability of the planes.

SA and UAE are pretty much allies of USA, they have been buying US weapons since the beginning of time. If they continue to buy US weapons no surprise, unless they become sort of like enemies. SA has bought Chinese ballistic missiles, UAVS production lines and howizters.

Why did a 100 US fighters need to respond to 300 Chinese fighters? Was the Taiwanese Air Force enjoying a Shumai festival that werk
US sent 100 fighters to test Chinese air force capability as there are lots of improvements on the Chinese side lately.

First they laughed at you "Chinese can't build shit";
Then they mocked you "Chinese can only build shit";
Then they were getting salty "Chinese copy/steal Western Tech" ;
Then they became insecure "China is a threat";
Then what........?

Because China is relatively new to the military defence industry, once their equipment gains exposure it will outsell Russian counterparts and possibly everything non-US

100 US fighters vs 300 Chinese fighters => Not happening

100 sorties by US fighter vs 300 sorties by Chinese fighter => Exactly

The most reasonable guess is about a few dozen American fighters and a few dozen Chinese fighters, making many sorties in a few days.

Engine reliability is determined by flight hours.

US engines can survive 10,000+ hours before being replaced, which is probably thousands more than any Chinese engine.

Like Boeing B737 Max engineering? Boeing is a powerhouse in western aviation and yet they could make such stupid mistakes. Not to mention other smaller western companies what they will do.

These best of western engineering was long dead 20 years ago. Western companies will put profit above anything.. I wouldn't put so much money and faith on them.

there are always exceptions to the rule.
like it or not, Western technology is way ahead of any other technology in the world.
