It doesn't matter where the people come from.Its the capital, people will come here. Even if one person suffers among the millions, it is a shame isin't it? And this crime would not have happened if there was vigilance. Its such a small state and national capital. Security has to be full proof. Without taking any chances.

Women roam around in Delhi much beyond 7/8 PM . Living conditions ? When was the last time you checked Delhi's per cpaita income and HDI level ?

You can't use public transport after 7/8 PM though i agree.

About the rest of your rant, as someone else said , Delhi belongs to no one's daddy.Certainly not yours.

Also before declaring that delhi ahs gone to the dogs, try protecting your muslims also in Gujarat 2000 of whom were murdered in 2002.

Things need to change in India and Delhi in particular due to the neighbouring states here, but xenophobic people like you will most certainly not bring any change .

Btw, most criminals in Delhi come from its neighbouring states as migrants and aren't locals including in this case. Giving away Delhi to Pakistan won't change a thing.

Delhi is not backward but it's neighbouring states are and that is where most criminals come from including the ones in this this case.

If you lived in a relatively rich city surrounded by poor and backwards states , you would have understood what i am talking about.

I never said that, and I know that many rapists are not from Delhi. But I can not accept that our capital which puts so much emphasis on security can not make sure that women can not walk outside safely. And this is not the first time that such a case happens.

iam a born delhiite and you are very right about racism in delhi.even white people in delhi have a racial name(white monkey in english and gora bandar in hindi)

Police has to be more vigilant. Punishment has to be more severe. I am not denying that . I am just against this hatred being spewed against all Delhiites when most of us are far more disgusted than anyone else , since it happened in our city . Just see the number of Delhi men on the streets today.Another Delhi man almost died trying to protect this girl.

Cool down.....We can't able to punish them and I think you don't know about our Judicial system and its working phenomenon. after all its bailable crime they will come out within 15-20 days and roam freely in streets. What happened Ruchika case? everybody know about that culprit ,what was accomplished so far? just read news and forgot like our politicians. In addition our judges seeking innovative/novelty in crimes then only they will issue death sentence (rarest of rare case). Feel proud about our country.

I know our judicial system sucks but thats not my point....

My point was that if we r able to generate fear in man of becoming impotent for harassing even making a MMS than it'll descourage hedious acts like rape to a greater extent n the best way to set an example for that is to make it applicable with retrospective effect n enforce it on those prisoners also who r serving their term...

The punishment of becoming impotent or losing manhood along with life imprisonment is much bigger than our current 7 years term for rape...

i know that it won't eliminate the problem but will definitely have a much larger pschological impact on man...

In gujrat riots, Gujrat CM asked 3 state to provide police force and all state rejected CM request because all these 3 state were under Congress. [ btw what was the point of going off topic ? ]

you know the best thing is Congress is ruling Delhi for last 20 years and is in center for last 8 years. Delhi police directly answerable to union home ministry

Chinkis are fine in Delhi now. South Indians too don't face that problems what north Indians face in Chennai and mumbai.

We cant afford shifting capital to new place and none of existing cities is qualified enough to be capital of India. Its been our capital since ancient times accept for brief period of 400-500 years.

None of the neighboring regions of Delhi are backward. Delhi is surrounded mainly by two states ie Haryana and west UP. Below is little description of both of them.
