Recheck my post and let me know if any point in it does not have merit to it. Sorry but PTI-led government was just another in line of the military-backed political experiments that did not work. Imran Khan's miscalculations are not small to begin with and corruption continued with strength and those who were involved in corruption could not be held accountable.

I am questioning the moral high ground of PTI activism on PDF from objective standpoint - much of it is self-absorbed and toxic to the core with insults directed towards Pakistan Army on a regular basis and calls for attacks on the institutions. There is ample data and evidence to support this observation. There is little deliberation on past mistakes and what is the way forward for the country on the other hand.

PDM experiment is also a flop show but the uncomfortable truth is that it does have its support base in the country - I have had interactions with people who support Shahbaz Sharif for instance. If these people do not have a representation on PDF, they do not exist?

Difference is that PTI activism is far more visible in cyber space and opposing views get overshadowed in the exchange.

Nation building is a lengthy struggle. Khan can run the country but he is not in the position to address the menace of corruption in the country because it permeates every section of the society including those within the PTI CAMP. PTI has popular vote but it has to REBOOT its political regime with a SYSTEM OF INTERNAL ACCOUNTABILITY and PROVE to the ENTIRE COUNTRY that it can bring about legitimate change in the country if given another chance in General Elections. Hypocrisy does not works.

Recall the era of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto? He was also charismatic and had a massive support base. But he RUINED Pakistan with his self-absorbed politics.

PTI activism continues to miss the mark as well. Respect Forum Rules at minimum, but nope.

Name one achievement of the company? Before questioning the morality of others, had their been any rectification by the so called top decision makers of the company. Things would not have come this far. What ur seeing is a culmination of the consistent failures of a so called only institution. And from hereon there won't be any difference as how to people look towards PA in pak or in india or Bangladesh.

It no longer matters what we think of him. It is not important anymore whether we regard him as corrupt or innocent, view him as efficient or incapable, place him on a high moral pedestal or at par with his opponents. What many of us do not realise is that his fall was orchestrated, his rise was ordianed. His ouster was managed by a few, his comeback is destined by the majority. His fall from grace may have been planned by humans, his rise to glory is destined by divinity. He has already reached a place where our opinions carry no weight since now, only Allah's decision matters.
What a great drama unfolding right before our eyes
Historical times
This day will be part of our history
Remembered for long
One brave man rose to change the fate of 220 million people
One against all. Politicians of various ilks
Joined together by greed. And greed alone
People had accepted their condition as a given, unchangeable
Their future generations condemned to crawl like insects against mafia that had eaten into the vitals of the nation
Till one man and one man alone told them that was not their destiny
They were meant for something better
He showed them how
Practically
By standing in front of them, , handsome and beautiful
A sublime figure larger than life
Too good to be true
Sacrificing a life of great luxury
His beautiful family, his gorgeous wife his country of adoption
To land amidst a Miserable country on the verge of collapse
He gave them a vision, hope, dream
He told them to realize their true worth
He told them not to crawl when they could fly
He told them they were endowed by the Almighty with wings
He led from the front
Rode the caravan fearlessly
Debunking all fear and possible instantaneous death
This is stuff of legends unfolding now in sight of the whole world
By submitting to the vision cognitively, emotionally even if not behaviorally
For I wish I could be as brave as MY LEADER
Bravo Imran Khan, Bravo All Pakistanis 🇵🇰🙏

Lol! no mention of his own former company?

. .
Sharifs are now lapdogs?

I thought Army was out for their blood as well.

Lol

As per Army Generals, the center of gravity is military Inc. everything else comes after it, they are the common denominator and they keep changing their pick of politicians.

Nawaz elected as PM in 1990, first tenure, removed by the Military(president decree was used)

Army picked Benazir, removed her and picked Nawaz.

Later Nawaz was removed and Benazir picked.

Benazir was removed and again Nawaz was picked, later Benazir was neutralized.

Nawaz was removed by military, by Bajwa(he was just a pawn). and Imran Khan was picked.

Imran Khan was removed(by Bajwa, ironically) and Shahbaz Sharif(basically Nawaz) was picked.

So basically the Establishment/Military uses, abuses, the politicians which suits them for a limited time and pick them as eyewash, hogwash to fool the awam and the western democracies and later removes them, pack them up, to keep playing the game.

The military keeps picking their PM's as in musical chairs, they keep changing them, makes sure no one is strong to challenge them.

The military should keep calling shots, they should be ruling and civilians as subservient second class, the gameplan, the playbook...so simple.

PTI Refutes Involvement In Violent Acts Of Rioting, Vandalism

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said that the ISPR's statement on Wednesday did not reflect 'the reality of the situation on the ground'.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), whose supporters and sympathizers have been protesting violently and damaging state property across Pakistan following Imran Khan’s arrest on Tuesday, has denied any role in the recent acts of public disorder, claiming that the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement “did not reflect the reality of the situation on the ground”.
PTI’s refutation surfaced a day after the ISPR, the Pakistani military’s media wing, termed May 9 a “black chapter in history” as protesters ransacked military buildings, including the residences of top military commanders. The ISPR blamed the PTI for exploiting the veil of politics to do to Pakistan what the “enemy was not able to do for seventy-five years”.
In a statement, the PTI said, “We are committed to pursuing our objectives without resorting to violence and in accordance with the law and the Constitution.”
“PTI has always opposed breaking the law and the Constitution,” the party’s statement read.
“The PTI believed that both individuals and institutions had a responsibility to uphold the law,” the statement read.
In the PTI’s view, the public reaction after Imran Khan’s arrest is connected to many factors, adding that the devastation of the economy and extrajudicial acts were also among the causes of animosity.
According to the party, Imran Khan also proposed holding free and fair elections as a way to resolve the current political and administrative turmoil. The statement went on to say that because PTI opposed election meddling and rigging, which violated people’s rights to sovereignty, the general public supported Imran Khan’s political philosophy and worldview.
On Wednesday, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said there “was and is prior planning” behind the attacks on military installations and facilities after the arrest of former premier Imran Khan.
The ISPR said that the “army showed extreme patience, tolerance, and restraint and, without caring about its own reputation, worked with extreme patience and endurance in the wider interest of the country.”
“The facilitators, planners, and political activists involved in the rioting have been identified, and strict action will be taken against them in accordance with the law,” the ISPR statement said, vowing that “all these evil elements will now be responsible for the consequences.”
The Pakistan army has warned that “any further attack on the army, including law enforcement agencies, military and state installations, and properties, will be severely retaliated against.” The military has already stated on record that all responsibility for any detrimental outcomes will with “the very group that wants to push Pakistan into a civil war, which has expressed this desire and has repeatedly attacked the army.”

Dear, you are right.

But there is a need for better discourse on how to criticize Pakistan Army and put the country on the right path. Every CAMP has to introspect as well.

Those in the PDM CAMP are less likely to introspect but PTI is a platform that can be course-corrected. PTI has popular support so this opportunity should not be missed with wrong calls and slogans.

If Khan is not in the picture tomorrow, what is the appeal of PTI? This is important to understand.

The irony of this wart. No one wants to raise arms and react violently but retards like this make your blood boil.
Someone that has his wealth and position because of the family he has been born into and not because of this talent isnt worthy of listening to.

Those that elect twats like this to make him "prince of Karachi" ought to have their heads examining.
Creating over 200 charges against IK and throwing him into court every other day was the start of the dirty game. Next was the arrest KNOWING the tension it would create - THEN taking advantage by smashing up places and destroying records - having charges against Shabhaz dropped whilst all this is going is part of the game.

Actually, many such leaders have come in Ummah after Khulafa e Rashideen, he is not the only one. Not necessarily, all of them were rulers.

But majority of them were either killed by fellow Muslims, or Muslim rulers of their times.
Finishing his popularity is not possible without bringing him back.. that is the only way possible because current economic downfall requires divine intervention, which I am not hopeful will come for Pakistan.

Remember one thing, the one who raises the name of ALLAH SWT's beloved prophet (PBUH), He SWT raises his name to the heights unimaginable. We don't realize this but success does not depend on winning a battle here in this world, success is what Imran Khan is going through, he is living every single moment of his last days as a successful man and once he is killed (which I am sure will will be), he will be remembered as a hero of Muslims for many decades.. we may witness books on him and PhDs offered on his ideology just like Allama Iqbal. It is expected because he raised the prophet's (PBUH) name among those powerful leaders who hate to hear that name in their dreams even.

He never lost a battle in his life, and this last battle will be won, though we may not realize it. He has successfully defeated an ideology that kept us captured for decades.. the same ideology termed anyone against that a traitor... now that ideology is synonymous to betrayal for the majority of this country. If this is not a war lost by the powerful, then what is?

I have witnessed gound realities. I know exactly how local leadership of PTI in my local constituency used social media platforms triggered the emotios of tender minds....and how those young boys (mostly afghan national teenagers) made targetted assaults on selected places within same vicinity...... Funny thing was that the former MNA or MPAs of PTI who always have won from my cpmstituency were no where to be found. Perhaps they were smoking cigars, and poor ones have paid the price.

. .
Can you dumb it down for me, please?

What are they doing?
Are you implying it's not a civilian wearing that mask?
Why would they make a saboteur stand out from the crowd?
Also, CS gas is a kind of tear gas, no?

Sounds intriguing. What do you do?
They are agitators. The “unseen hand” designed to create chaos.
