In what is at the moment a hypothetical but quite plausible scenario, the Bangladeshis would be between a rock and a hard place.
Northern Bangladesh would need to be turned into a battlefield regardless of the wishes of the Bangladeshi government. If the Siliguri corridor is cut off by the Chinese, it leaves the Indians no choice but to use Bangladeshi territory to relieve it's armies in the northeast. That would bring in the Chinese to try and block those routes. The Bangladeshis would be spectators in their own country.
The only viable course of action would be to implement a policy of aggressive neutrality and defend their territory against the Indians in order to make the cost of using Bangladeshi territory too high to contemplate for the Indians. It would be the only way to ensure any kind of territorial integrity of Bangladesh.
Otherwise Bangladesh would just become the grass that gets flattened when two elephants fight.

This is very short term thinking IMO. If China cuts off eastern parts of India and annexes it, China will be our direct neighbor. There is no credible evidence that they would be a better neighbor, evidence to the contrary is plentiful. Ask China's neighbors along the coast of South China sea.

They may not annexe it but merely dismember the north eastern states and install separatist/ nationalist client governments.
