They dont carry it in the front, its near the engine exhaust. The front used to carry an arm for the SM-1.

ThankGod we didn't buy any more of these.
they were suppose to come free but we **ked up..
would have been a great platform for general duties hwoever we got lucky and china developed its capabilites too fast..today we see type 54,55 and 52..noone would have dreamt this in early 2000s

Yep not worth it.
However they still have decent capability;

Other nations’ Perry Class frigates retain the missile system capability with the Boeing Harpoon surface-to-surface missiles and Raytheon Standard SM-1MR surface-to-air missiles.

Torpedoes are fired from two deck-mounted mk32 triple-tube torpedo tubes. The ship’s torpedoes are the Alliant Techsystems (ATK) mk46 mod 5 lightweight anti-submarine torpedoes and the ATK mk50 torpedo.

Harpoons Pakistan has plenty of us. I'm not aware of the SM-1MR inventory, I don't believe the system is in use.

Its not, the launch arm is removed.

Of which system? The Harpoon?
What’s the breakdown in terms of armaments?
The MK26 launcher was removed,

You can see the hump where it would have been mounted. Instead they carry Harpoon Block-2's in the front.

They are armed with the Oto Melara-76mm alongside a Phalanx to the rear and then Block-2 Harpoons. No SAM's.

US even didn't allow ESSMs 50km range SAMs for that ship although we can put Aster15/30 or any other available SAM from west or South Africa.

It's better to scrap this junk and shove it up Uncle Sams .....It is just a museum piece with countless overheads, can run many modern platforms on the same costs.

Im unsure as to whether that is entirely accurate. ESSM would require MK41. Considering PN did not want to pay a penny for OHP,

uhhh who is going to pay for its replacement?

Oliver Hazard Class Frigate Acquisition was very economical, but sadly we were able to get only 1 frigate.
