What's new

Now you understand why China will not support....

Here's a lesson for you:

India wasn't a founder but an invitee of the United Nations. The founders were the United States, Soviet Russia, Republic of China, United Kingdom and France, which ostensibly were both the major victors (except France) of WWII and the permanent members of the UNSC.

Permanent membership isn't solely about politics but also about history. Take Germany for example, they today wield as much power in the UN as the UK or France but it cannot be a permanent member because it was neither a victor nor a founder of the UN. The same applies for India.

yes i agree germany and india were not founding members of UN. but wen the next expansion occurs. germany (and may be india) will surely make it to the security council. canada might be significant contrubutor to world economy but u dont have any independent political voice. ur line is totally based on wat US tell u to do and wat it doesnt tell u to do. period.

I really wish people would stfu if they don't actually know anything of the subject they blabber on about.

We'll see about that in few years from now. Why jump the gun early and then regret..Keep your patience. Unless you are trying to take high ground with your idiotic rants.

Talking about yourself again? :azn:

The bottom line is that India is not important enough to get a veto.

Germany, Japan... and even Brazil, they all have powerful economies. Germany and Japan are in the top five, Brazil is in the top eight.

really take look at this:India Economy

---------- Post added at 10:11 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:10 AM ----------

India economy, the third largest economy in the world, in terms of purchasing power, is going to touch new heights in coming years. As predicted by Goldman Sachs, the Global Investment Bank, by 2035 India would be the third largest economy of the world just after US and China. It will grow to 60% of size of the US economy. This booming economy of today has to pass through many phases before it can achieve the current milestone of 9% GDP.

The history of Indian economy can be broadly divided into three phases: Pre- Colonial, Colonial and Post Colonial.

LOL you can't use "Purchasing power parity" GDP to make International comparisons.

When comparing countries you use Nominal GDP, and so India is 11th, even behind Brazil.

so no one can neglect India as she has such giant economy.we are 11th largest economy as per nominal GDP and 4th largest as per PPP even though according to you The bottom line is that India is not important enough to get a veto.get your facts straight Chinese dragon.

No one has offered India veto power.

They always do this. Use compare their PPP to others nominal GDP.
still we are 11th largest economy and a trillion economy so we have enough economic strength to claim veto seat.

Lots of countries do. So what? Veto power is reserved for the winners of world war 2. Maybe you'll get your chance in WW3 if you side with us.

Why are you replying to bunch of trolls. They are having a field day today. Let them be.

A liability imo. Always suspicious, needs its ego carefully stroked and hasn't won against a war against a non-subcontinent army in 2000 years. I'd pass.

i know and why they will offer us opportunity to extend our power we have to force them for doing so by increasing our economic strength.
