Altaf hussain asked MQM lawmakers to submit resignations to deputy convener today, adding that the MQM cannot be a part of this corrupt and rotten system.One week’s deadline to assemblies and senate to improve conduct while directing his MPs to submit their resignation at the party headquarter

He said that the Parliament’s session was called only to deliver speeches and to preempt any possible intervention by the army. The Parliament cannot solve the people’s problems.

MQM chief Altaf Hussain signals to quit leadership .

LONDON: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has summoned a meeting of all the responsible workers and sector in-charges on Wednesday at 6 pm in Azizabad area of Karachi.

The meeting will be held at Lal Qila Ground in Azizabad.
According to a statement issued on MQM website, the leader stated that he was already saddened over the country’s current political crisis and now the irresponsible and selfish behavior of the senior party leaders has made him even more upset. Altaf Hussain further stated that he will request his workers to relieve him of party leadership while further details will be discussed during today’s meeting.
