No ‘Cold Start’ doctrine, India tells US

Well out of the whole chest thumping of India, its pity they also have to go to US and other international forums and cry about Pakistan much more then Pakistan cries about India.

Rather ours were the intelligent ones who diverted the US flow towards India after US has been asking to deploy more troops in tribal areas and we told them that we can't and India being the reason.

Pity, that you guys even after such chest thumping came under the pressure of US and had to issue a statement.

We cry and most of the times people listen and agree to the cries, thats why u see more cries from this side.

am not doomsaying..isn't it happening in that direction ??? well i don't like people suffering--but all the INDIA hate policies and now sectarian violence is pointing to that direction a nation getting weaker---don't know or thought abt a weak n unstable Pakistan will be good or bad---OH Nukes--they will be taken care of by the very people who has helped to acquire it or Uncle SAM won't let it slip into wrong hands

Well this is the issue with you bharatis. You are over confident and to some extent an arrogant nation. Every nation goes through a bad time of it's history. Some nations seize to exist in such scenario and some achieve their revival from such conditions. Pakistan is a nation who has been witnessing such dooms day theories from the very first day of it's beginning. But even in the worst conditions it survived and made achievements. It fought wars with country much bigger than itself and survived. So indeed the problems we are facing right now are extremely dangerous but we have the ability to fight ourselves out of this situation, which we will. What we need is a proper leadership. Being a BHARATI collapse of Pakistan might be your dream but let me tell Pakistan isn't a weak nation which would crumble that easy. And same goes for our nukes also. They are safe and secure and ready to hit any aggressor any time.

:)
no its the 4th option

after so much chest thumping and call for counter actions against India,Pakistani establishment turned out to b a :bunny: to ran to the U.S to hide in their lap,and make them stand in front of us to raise Pakistani concerns, pity u guys cant even speak for urselfs

Really.!!! You need anything to satisfy yourself, so you created one for yourself. Good. Live in your delusional world and when ever their is pain in your as* name as surgical strike or cold strike. Do tell us we have the cure right in our arsenal. :)

And tell me which of these cries have been heard and action taken ??

Were you let to do those surgical strikes ?? Were you let to go on invading Pakistan with the mighty IA and destroy Pakistan ??

Were any sanctions put in place with your crying ??

Do tell me which action happened after crying by your leaders ??

Sometimes people have to listen to those who cry out loud so that their crying stops, as crying becomes irritating also to many.

First of all who the hell is USA to ask what's our military plans are?????

As a sovereign nation we are free to make our decisions.

Why this lame PM MMS is pressuring and dragging army into politics and diplomacy?????

And in last till we have such prime minister like MMS we can't have offensive postures or strategies. He will do anything for USA or Pakistan.

Each and every military purchases are behind decades of schedule but all are sleeping while chiena and pak are making all preparation to make our life hell.

.
and also his capital was not bombed by people of Indian origin... he had a point.

Well buddy, before coming out with your sarcasm.

Go and study the profiles of those attackers, they may have Pakistani roots, but they were born, brought up, fed in, educated in the UK. So its none of Pakistani problem.

They had all their lives to spend in UK, they had their change if minds in the UK after seeing what looked wrong to them and they while being in the UK decided to act.

So how come it is a Pakistan's fault ??

They got radicalized while being in UK, born there, educated there.

Hope you get the point and next time before opening it up, do some logical analysis and see who those attackers were.

no one is pressuring us and no one is calling shots in our affairs,U.S just brought the matter before us because of the needling of Pakistan,as due to Afghan issue(their soldier's protection)

India said we even dont have such kind of policy and then they went back hapily at a time when the American's themselves r providing as tactical and strategic heavy lifters which r intended for fast and heavy mobilization

. .
come on excuse me,what we have lost actually,u r talking about american pressure, the same americans will come back in a matter of seconds to us,to have business with us,they r not at all in a position to pressure us if they want business, they already had their lessons all this yr

and actually how r we losing our money due to defense deals, more than 75% is circulated back to India through license production's and ToT thus by creating jobs here and and have to spend less on developing tech

I did not said India has lost anything, nor it has.

As said before the statement is for public consumption and i really doubt the credibility of Pakistan going to them about Cold Start stuff, as even if there was no Cold Start stuff, there is still India, which is more then enough for Pakistan to station its troops on eastern border. Thus the mentioning of Pakistan saying anything about Cold Start to US seems for story hype purposes.

Pakistan has very precisely, long ago made clear to US that India is a viable threat and we will not stand down nor will shift troops other then necessary and as per requirements.

So i don't understand, once this thing has been cleared to them, why people are coming up with such statements again.

Dont kid yourself, Taimi. Those bombers were regular visitors to Pakistan and probably Afghanistan as well. The British authorities collected evidences where they were trained in Pakistan. They were indoctrinated by people both in UK and in Pakistan.

I am not trying to paint the whole of Pakistan as a terrorist haven. But the truth is that Pakistan is today seen as the epicenter of global Jihad. 90% of Islamic terror incidents since 9/11 can be traced or linked to Pakistan. You cant scream and deny it in online forums but it wont change the facts.

Plz check their motivation for what they did, it was UKs involvement in War of Terror and once you have made up your mind, it doesn't matters who polishes them. They made up their minds in UK for its role.

Mohammad Sidique Khan, one of the bomber was even on the radar of intelligence agencies but they never investigated or detained him, thus what do you call that ?? It seems the UK authorities let him do that he was doing, knowing where he was traveling and for what purposes.

Germaine Lindsay, did not came to Pakistan. He got radicalized in UK.

So plz go and check the whole affair of London Bombings and the profiles of the bombers and their motivations.

Well it may seem as the epicenter, but it isn't. 15 out of the 19 hijackers of 9/11 were Saudis, was Saudi Arabia called the epicenter of terrorism ??

How many foreigners have been killed by Pakistanis or Pakistani origin people abroad compared to those killed by other terrorist nationals ?? Ever studied that ??

You people learn and remember what media tells you, not using your own logical brains and seeing the reality.

Recently a report was discussing that foreign nationals are coming to tribal areas or to Afghanistan through Turkey and other CAS countries and getting trained and taking part in fighting the occupational forces in Afghanistan, so is that Pakistan's fault or the countries who are letting them travel through their lands.

And yeah its useless to argue with brain washed people, i can understand that.

It's the same kind of assurance that US keeps giving to India that weapons & aircrafts given to Pakistan won't be used againt her.

In case of war - if ever one erupted, though i doubt it - both countries will use whatever means and measures they have according to their war strategies.

Right now, US has to keep both Pakistan and India on board. Difficult as it is, they don't have much choice. So, in order to keep things going, it will try to sooth the bilateral concerns of both countries which obviously stem from mistrust and our long nurtured animosity.

.
Neither of the above.

The conclusion is that Uncle Sam was like,
"Dude, you shouldn't have talked about that Cold start stuff openly. The Pakistanis are worried, what with half their troops tied down on the Western front."

The Indian General was like,
"All right, all right. I'll pretend like there's no such thing and that we still have a dumb-a$$ defensive mindset like we did."

Both giggle.:azn:
To paraphrase the Pakistani Military leadership - 'Pakistan's policy vis a vis India is based on capability, not overt or covert intentions'.

In other words, keep giggling.

They were not Pakistani, they were born and raised British, and they were radicalized in the UK before traveling to Pakistan/Afghanistan for training in some of the lawless areas.
