I agree that India is not going to give up Kashmir either. And for mutual peace it's important that waters keep flowing to Pakistan. However, when an enemy is at the next door, he will not be happy with your economic growth. Good economy can come down the ground when a nation has to fight a long and complex war. The war is always there in the north and east of India which will suck any 'good economy' you know. Weapons of mass destruction are with all the rivals. You will destroy one asset in the East, we will destroy 10 in the West. Then who will be more at loss? The one who had a very good economy or the one with a small and modest economy. You have a Mercedes, I have a Suzuki, both collide with each other for destruction; who loses more money?

You know Pakistan and China are working to show their active presence in the Indian Ocean; in case of war they are going to block fuel supply to India. Then what will run your economy?
