Yes they were smiling. They were brave people who laid down there lives. Against all the odds. In spite of being outnumbered 1:8 they killed 722 Chinese soldiers. I salute them . I also appreciate and respect the Chinese nurse for her help. Unlike the 97000 of your army men who were captured. Honestly if one looks back and sees 98000 soldiers surrender that too of a mighty army and belonging to martial race it is embarrassing. We accept our defeat of 1971......fighting civil war in East Pakistan, cut off from mainland, Mukhti bahini and then Indians jumping the bandwagon....We fought too....and fought hard...

Your government still hides the report of 1962 war...

NOTE : This has been discussed here many times that 93000 didn't surrendered...This is propaganda....I m unable to find that thread but 43000 soldiers surrendered rest were civilians....

Also we do not send Mujahideen to fight against India, we only do not stop them from fighting India.
It is a big difference. Army or ISI doesn't sponsors mujahedeen or provide weapons. the only thing is they do not stop them to cross the border
