This is a simplified illustration of the concept. The goal is not only a machine-to-human circle, but also full tactical integration within the joint force structure. In other words, air, naval and land systems will act as a whole within the same network in real time. For example, an ammunition fired from a naval platform will be guided by an air platform. Or Group B electronic warfare elements will be used against the structure that Group A engages. A very complex command and control, communication and combat tactical network is being designed. And all this infrastructure is being built as a network independent of NATO. This is one of the reasons for the current F-16 modernization want to be carried forward through ÖZGÜR. There are a number of projects going on in this regard, some of which I have shared in the forum. You can read the following thread as one of the main projects in this regard.

Thanks to Erodgan who put Turkish defnce at the top priorty 20 years ago

2002 exports $180 million same as Pakistan

Today over $4.4 billion in defence exports

that sums it up
Had the neutrals focused on Research and development we could have had a defence industry as good as Turkey.

Building and developing DHA's, golf courses, whisky, p-o-r-n etc. are the things they seem to focus on.

Karachi shipyard for example was building 10K ton displacement ships back in the 70's and 80's.

Okay, let me share some figures: According to SASAD (Turkish Defense and Aerospace Industry Manufacturers Association), Turkiye's defense industry member companies' turnover reached $12 billion 200 million in 2022.

Of this, $4.4 billion came from the sale of orders and services abroad. Contracted future orders, which are currently being delivered, amounted to $8.79 billion. In other words, the defense industry's current export momentum is likely to maintain its aggressive upward trend in the coming years.

One thing should be underlined here: The defense industry is the sector with the highest R&D investment. As of 2022, 2 billion 61 million dollars of investment was spent on technology and system developments. Of the foreign sales made in 2022, 1.2 billion dollars was from civil(/partial) aviation and 546 million dollars from military aviation. A major expansion is expected in the next 10-year period, especially in aerospace. In the next decade, there can be an annual turnover of over 15 billion in aerospace alone, which in fact, this figure is only the turnover that TAI plans to achieve through its own ecosystem and its own end sales actually.
