A big No. First win atleast 10 gold medals and 20-25 other medals in a olympic game so that there are people interested in the games. Other wise no one will turn up in the stadium to watch any olympic sport.

I will set the target at 2032. And yeah focus only on infrastructure for the next 10 years and not Stadiums.

India is capabile to do the Olympics if they work hard and improve the facilities that they will offer to atheltes. Afterall India does have some good investment from western companies.

The common wealth games was an embassesment with reporters reported on the ill treatment of these facilities.

Sure reporters will report anything but its up to Indian Officials to sort it out and not give anything away that will jepodise their .

Once they start establishing Sports staduims with good equipment and so on there no doubt that india can host the Olympics.

Pehle ek baar world cup mein qualify to kare then think about bidding. Looking at the current Indian team it doesn't look like happening in the next 25 years.

It would be great if India can pull this one off.
Olympic is the greatest sports event, far greater than the Commenwealth Games. It is too prestigious to be taken lightly. If you can pull it off then it will have positive responses from all people and countries all around the world, therefore making your country and its people proud. However, if it fails then your country would be a huge laughing stock.
India needs the sports venues, facilities and travel networks etc ready and to good standards if they were to make it happen.

You can't because Olympics isn't just hosting just another sporting show, its an event to showcase your worth to the world. I don't think India will even be close in 2020 to do that. And more importantly IOC will consider your CWG, and we all know regarding that.... so in short fictional idea.
