In deed, both ground/air exfil is important, but as I said, with the way casualty being handle today, a specific designed ambulance type exfil is becoming redundant. While we probably will still need large Heli outfitted with medical equipment to fil Priority extraction role with on route care, especially for VIP. The need to ground armoured ambulance is basically not needed. As I said before, you can fill that with a normal Armoured Carrier

Today casualty handling is about speed, unless it's VIP related, it seldom touch medevac anyway, it mostly about Casevac. And for that a particularly outfitted ambulance is not quite needed.

Yeah, I do watched the Taliban version of lone survivor.....There are a lot of "Combat Diary" style program out there

The indigenously made ambulance can act as a small emergency room and can effectively enhance the defensive and traffic capabilities of the medical crew in combat rescue operations, China Military reported Thursday.

The new amphibious armored ambulance can quickly transport the casualties under complicated weather conditions in complex terrains at sea and on land. In amphibious landing operations, the ambulance can accompany the combat troops to carry out medical support tasks.

Inside the amphibious armored ambulance, monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps and various types of drugs and equipment necessary for the treatment of the wounded are available.

The damping structure and cushion in the built-in bunk stretcher bed and seats for the wounded have been transformed to avoid secondary damage caused by bumps; at the same time, noise reduction and human design features in interior, climate control and lighting in the entire ambulance cabin can create a suitable environment to rescue the wounded.

Researchers said that this amphibious armored ambulance can transport up to eight wounded in addition to the medical crew. The loading and unloading of all the wounded can be completed within two minutes as a result of the specially-designed bunk stretcher bed and ambulance doors.

Zhou Lin, director of the Institute of Field Operation Surgery of the PLA Third Military Medical University, is responsible for the research and development of the new ambulance.

I don't think that doing troop evac needs a dedicated medical vehicle like ambulance etc. Because we don't know about the situation at the front line. Any vehicle can do the job. But if that ambulance has the equipment to open a temporary medical facility to handle the injured soldiers who can't evac, then it becomes important.

Just imagine, your troop is surrounded by the enemy. You can't leave the battleground, or evacuate your injured buddies. But if you can build a temporary hospital at your position, you can save lives. Who know there are soldiers who need a quick medical attention / critical surgery at the spot, when evacuation is not possible at the moment.

There's no foul language. You just felt the pinch because what i said was true and quite sensitive to you as you probably had some regrets over your past old mistakes. You can't turn back the clock.

It means generate revenue and income for your country and people.
