Hi, the Gwadar port is a great port and is needed by Pakistan. Karachi already is overloaded and has many bottle necks. It is the government of Pakistan who is to poor and corrupt to cough up the money to make it viable. More importantly also to stupid to use it effectively. A country of 180MM definitely needs more that one large port.

In regards to the naval fleet, I think Pakistan is making a mistake investing in surface ships. They will be sunk the minute a war starts with Yakont and/or Brahmos missiles. Pakistan should build up its air arm, and its submarine fleet and also use tactical nukes to deal with the Indian Navy. Using nukes in the ocean does not pollute and does not induce a land based retaliation.

Also I wonder if Pakistan is buying the improved Yuan class submarine from China? Thanks!

Even for a moment if we think that it is reverse engineered from US Tomahawk, even then it is a great achievement as no one has any doubt on Babur's capability.

Buddy, Pakistan did had around 3-4 Tomahawks, which crash landed during the raid on Afghanistan, but to Americans it was shown a less number.

We kept it too, gave one to the Chinese and one or two were given back to the US to keep them shut.

And Tomahawk is superior to Babur, even right now also. I don't want to go in 1 to 1 matching thing, even in which Tomahawk has some superiority, specifications wise, plus one major thing that makes Tomahawk superior is, its combat record. Its has a splendid combat performance record, while Babur is still to be seen in action, heck we have not even seen its precision bombing runs, meaning hitting the targets capability.

Why shouldn't Pakistanis suspect that the admiral has his eye on those hundreds of acres the Navy illegally occupies and is seeking to make a personal profit out of it? Either someone bribes him to stay quiet or else he is given leave to do something with those acres, a portion for his own pocket?
