Whats wrong with Hindi @Armstrong? Shouldn't the Hindus in Pakistan speak and know Hindi if my family in Lucknow should know Urdu? Restricting a religious custom to a nation is not possible especially when 8.5% of the population of Sindh is Hindu. All our cultures make us rich and beautiful. Raja Dahir is a hero in my eyes.

Okay seriously : I don't like India & by extension any association with it whether in a linguistic, cultural or people-to-people sense; therefore I don't like Hindi being interspersed with Urdu !

Pakistani Hindus can speak Hindi or more appropriately Sindhi & Sanskrit till their hearts content; they are family & within reasonable bounds, I will not prejudice them or treat them any different than I would any other Pakistani !

Thirdly - Raja Dahir is not my hero but neither is Muhammad bin Qasim !
