@haviZsultan : Yaraa yeh 'Pakistani Ramblings' mein eik football kahan seh agiyaa which smashes against a perfectly good title & causes it to blight or whither away ?

Whats the logic behind all of that ? :what:

Arey, yeh kaisi baat kar di tumney? Mazaydaar blog tha.

It is supposed to be a fun blog about coffee, girls, models, people, culture, Canada, UAE, Pakistan, Japan, USA, the moon, Anakunni, who ever else. Hence the football smashing into Pakistani ramblings... it was something that stood aside from politics.

I was thinking of making the letters on separate layers and breaking them to bits-making them fall out of the picture completely. Could have used puppet warp. :D

Dunno if it works for me ! :undecided:

The way the title went blood red & then withered away reminded me of vampires & zombies but the football sort of didn't seem like a good fit to that.

Abbb mujhee marnaa maaat but you asked ! :fie:

Yeah a bit scary... yeah you are right. I used to tell someone else to do all the work and that is a very old design... i didn't even think of it that way. God no wonder the other guy used to tell me leave the designing to me.

Okay how about this. New design.

Pakistan Nationalist Party flag designed by me though the party is currently not in existance. Do comment.

The maroon represents the sacrifice of Nationalists for their nation and is a colour of the Nationalists. It also represents the blood drained by war veterans for Pakistan. Furthermore it represents then toil of the common man and the difficulty he suffers in life representing his blood and sweat. Finally it means struggle.

The green represents the concept of Ijtehad (Islamic reform), Islam as represented by secular Mu'tazilite forces as well as liberal movements such as the Din E Ilahi and the Roshaniya Movement. Furthermore it signifies progress and prosperity.

The white represents Pakistan's minorities and the massive role they have to play in it. It asserts that they must be given equal rights and protected from terrorist elements. It also represents peace.

The shaheen is a symbol of Iqbal, the national poet and is therefore there. The star and crescent have been adopted as the Nationalist symbol. The represent the Nationalist movement.

Am I improving?

@haviZsultan : Some of the coloring seems a little incoherent with respect to each other ! The mustard like color for the bird doesn't work for me & the white seems to be far too bright to be considered a part of the flag & comes out as if it were a void, an empty space to the far right !

I'd say add some texture to it so that it gives a down-to-earth organic feel to it !

Make the maroon a little lighter, it is too dark compared to the green and white. Perhaps you would like to put the crescent star and the bird into the green part of the flag so it looks neater and also make the outline of the flag black so that the white part looks like a column rather than just space. Also Pakistan nationalist Party should be shortened to PNP and made to fit in the middle column as well imo.

But there is a meaning that has to be provided too. I can't add texture to a flag? Btw are you graphic designer? I will show the logo sometime later-it has texture. The coloring has reasons behind it too. What colour should a shaheen be if not that colour?

Really? :cray:
I was told I was getting so much better that I could handle a graphic design business totally by myself rather than have others do the design. Is the flag any better. As a totally unbiased observer?

Actually there is a concept to the entire thing. When the first nationalist flag was used it was completely maroon with a crescent and star on it which was initially adopted as the movements symbol-it was inspired by turkey. Maroon was for our sacrifice, in those times we were so weak women stitched out of their clothes and it looked shoddy and pathetic... :cray:

The reason the red green and white have to be in that order because I have to keep the meaning of the flag intact. First comes maroon (struggle and blood for the nation) and on our muscles and hard work is built prosperity and progress (green)... which ultimately leads to equality and tolerance for all. Meaning harmony.
