Having naked beaches is against Indian culture, they never did that in all of its history.......... if they ever decide to have one such beach

I have seen a beach in Chennai and there it was all fine nothing of the sort though our German old lady got some unpleasent gestures due to her fair skin from some men there.

But overall it was all fine. No fear no other issue.

But Goa is famous among forigners so there need to be some special security

mostly STZ limits the local people interferance (some may say limitation of rights) so security wont be a problem..i think Dubai is a gr8 example...i think u r talking abt marina beach now a days security is very tight there so teasing of forigners cannot be done..but gestures nobody can prevent

oh yaar i am surprised to see so many peoples backing the idea of NAKED Beach........ lagta hai India has advanced beyound my expectations

Will be great for tourism as many of the peoples will only be travelling to India to see some HOT CHICKS on such beaches

Dude we have naked holy men all over India, infact one of our respectable religion, jainism, reccomend nudity. If they can do it, tourists can also do it....isnt that a fair arguement?

Do you or the indian people in your knowldge, any where in India, practice NUDITY on public places, for the sake of fun, or to justify freedom of expression?

I have seen Jain with white clothes all over the body, never a NUDE jain, in open defiance of others. Check your facts right.

i was in goa during Christmas. there are very very few naked "firangis" there. most cover themselves up pretty decently.

and for those talking about protecting our culture, remember , everything evolves, including culture.

this statement by the honorable minister is a gross overstatement.

also public indecency (read nudity) is illegal in india so such statements are redundant.

We legalised gay marriages then whats whats the problem with nude beaches..We can afford some nude people also ..all kind of peoples like Bal Thackrey ,Lalu Prasad Yadav ,Mayawati,Mamta Banergie etc etc are residing here ..some nude people wont make any change
