Mystery plane

.
My uncle says it's a Saab 36 project 1300. It gpt cancelled.

Now if only you got here a bit earlier, your uncle would have won the prize :P

Im sure the Brits helped with the design, looks to British.

Aero-engineers back then were quite a close knit team esp in the allied western post ww2 countries....so lot of convergent evolution etc.

Looks like a Sanger space plane concept but it could be Russian as well.

Yeah I already know hehe....just asking if any others know. ;)

Anyways here it is (Saab 36):

The wind tunnel model can be found in the Swedish AF museum in Linköping @war&peace @A.P. Richelieu @Mage

There was a fuselage engine variant as well:

Yep this(G/H) was the more conventional concept compared to the earlier one (D model).

My Swedish friend tells me there were three variants in total:

1300-71D (the one in original post, some sources say max speed was to be mach 2.1...others say mach 2.5)

1300-72G and 1300-72H (slight variants of the one you posted here)...max speed was to be mach 2.5

. .
maybe a prototype of the US blackbird spy plane...............is it?

Thats interesting bud.

This one is from the 50s though (I will give more clues slowly...and see if anyone gets it).

So far I would say the bristol 188 variant is the best guess By @Skull and Bones

Same era for sure... The F-22 "early concept" was very interesting by @FuturePAF

I think this kind of thread is very productive and interesting tbh :D

indeed, i am sick of tu tu mai mai in most threads between Indians and Pakis
