When elected officials do not deliver... people seek answers or solutions.

If one is not mistaken there has been elected government in PK now reaching a decade.

How much have they delivered to their citizens? What quantitative and qualitative difference have they made in their lives?

Role of democracy is to deliver services and improve citizens lives. What else is the benefit then?

PK might be better of with a hybrid solution. Where political parties can get time to reach maturity if they are not such already.

Apart from that an independent, technically driven national plan bureau is needed to lay out five years develpment plans against which the elected government can be measured. What can be measured can be done.

A performance based system for the political classes. Otherwise, it is all slogans and no results.

Here in my country a national plan bureau has served our nation well. PK can learn from this.
