The former premier said US General Anthony Zinni's book 'verifies this claim of his.'

"His testimony clearly says that it was the army chief and not the prime minister, who wanted the ceasefire," Sharif said.

Sharif refuted Musharraf's claims that international pressure over Kargil had demoralised him.

Then why did Pakistan lose ? Last time I did some reality check,it was the Pakistani paramilitary that was literally forced to fight with sticks and stones without supplies while the Indian Army and Airforce enjoyed a full support of communications and supplies. What happened to Pakistani Supply and Signal corps ? Or is it like they are not a part of the training and integration you are boasting about ?

Already casualties are high..soldier's were not getting reinforcement or food . already many links have provided by different members about comments of your own army and isi personals.. i mentioned earlier a India recaptured all peaks except one. .. why you always wanted to concentrate on individual scores.. still you want to pull pride... worry about your country domestic mess right now..

Anybody worth his salt knows 5353 fall on the LOC. And this includes the Pakistan Army. It was never held by India. Otherwise they would have celebrated Kargil as a victory, not hushed it up like this. Pakistan would have invited foreign journalists (as India did) to Kargil and conducted a tour to expose Indian claims of victory.

Check the map yourselves.
